That is really odd, if Sander is still alive when you get to his apartment then he should come downstairs to fight you no matter if you distrub the splicers to let them finish their song. Are you playing on the remastered version or the original version?

I'm playing the remastered version. I just finished a NG+ and it worked this time. I did the exact same thing, so I have no clue what happened in the first run... Thank you anyway for your answer, and the helpful video ! 👍🏻

If the achievement doesn’t activate, go to your achievements list and open the BioShock achievements list from there while playing the game. This achievement and the big daddy one unlocked for me when I did that. (Ik this is a little late)

Really? That’s a shame. I still remember when I rented this game from blockbuster and it came in two separate disks.

You have two chances to kill him, the first comes during the encounter in Fort Frolic. While the second one is in his apartment, Cohen will not attack you unless you disrupt the two splicers dancing in his living room. Once they are done dancing, I think that they attack you no matter what which will cause Cohen to come out from hiding at which point he will consider you hostile and attack you, so regardless I think that you are going to have to kill him.

@@thesilver3794 Yes that is the last time you see him for the remainder of the game.

It does not matter how you play the level, just make sure that you do not kill him when you have the chance. That way you can get into his apartment later in the game.

During the Fort Frolic chapter, instead of killing him, you walk away. Therefore when you progress through the game, he will be in at his apartment to let you in.

I believe that you would first need to go into quick fight, make the switch, then go into career mode. The change should transition until you quit the game.
