There's no such thing as "bad at sticks" because it's literally the less accurate aiming scheme. You're not bad at them, they're just inferior.

I remember telling someone who didn't know Splatoon that motion controls are the meta and they were so weirded out. Like stick controls are in so many shooters with no choice for gyro/motion so it shouldn't be a big deal or mass hatred for it.

@@VIofCaffeine It's because it's less accurate. In Splatoon we have access to an OBJECTIVELY superior control scheme. The only reason top not use motion is if you have a severe disability that makes it not feasible. The reason the plebs of other console shooters are fine with it is because they get aim assist instead, which is basically just cheating Let me repeat that: Shooters that aren't splatoon GIVE YOU AIMBOT instead of just implementing motion. Like what you like, but be honest with yourself: Sticks are bad. They make you play worse. Motion players get annoyed with stick players because we want you guys to be able to play with more skill, and therefore win more often. If you're just a casual player, that's also fine, and in that case it doesn't matter, truly, but if your goal is to get good, you need motion.

@@emperorcinnamonboi I know. Didn't mean to be condescending, though it probably came off that way. In hindsight, not very funny. Though I do highly recommend motion control, it really is the mouse of the controller world.

List of reasons motion controls are 10x better 1. Flicking 180 degrees to kill someone who snuck up on you 2. Flicking 90 degrees to snipe someone who is completely oblivious to the fact that they are in danger 3. Smoothly tracking opponents no matter if they are moving painfully slow or lightning fast 4. Intuitive as a mouse, just requires about a week to get used to and a month to master 5. Significantly higher skill ceiling that results in better ability to perform 6. There are maybe 5 top level players who play sticks and even they struggle when matched with motion players of their caliber

@@levibruner7553 These are the reasons motion control is better and it's true. I use motion control sometimes and stick control but im still able to flick and do special tricks with stick! Stick control people just aren't used to using motion control which I used to relate. (This all in a respectful way so please don't argue if u will ^_^)
