How does the wedge bounce affects short wedge shots?
Переглядів 2908 місяців тому
reflectionbaygolf.com - Brendan and Brad explain how a higher bounce affects ball flight and turf interaction versus low bounce wedges. Generally a higher bounce wedge will cause a lower ball flight. If hitting off a fluffy lie or fairways that are a little grassier, a higher bounce can work. However, on hardpan or tighter lies like you may find during winter, a lower bounce may work better and...
How does the bounce affect full wedge shots?

reflectionbaygolf.com - Higher bounce in your wedges affects ball flight and turf interaction versus low bounce wedges. Higher bounce wedge equals lower ball flight. In general if you are a "digger" and take a heavy, deep divot, you may benefit by having more bounce to hit the ball cleaner. But if you barely take turf lower bounce may be for you. It also depends on the courses you usually play....
Does changing weights on your driver improve distance and ball flight?
Переглядів 4838 місяців тому
reflectionbaygolf.com - Brendan recorded live tinkering and experimenting with a golfers driver weights during a demo. The golfer discovers that moving the weight closer to the face keeps the ball flight down and less spin. However, that may not be what is needed. More backspin on the driver may lead to further carry distance. It all depends on the person. Always get custom fitted for what work...
How does the shaft affect wedge shots?
Переглядів 4528 місяців тому
reflectionbaygolf.com - Most people realized how the shaft affects long clubs but are not sure about wedges. You don't swing that hard or take a big backswing. Well, it still makes a difference. As Brad explains in this video, the softer tip shaft gives the club a little "help" at the bottom which throws the ball higher in the air. For Brad that is not good because he has high swing speeds and ...

What a dumbass video say what loft the first and second lofts were so and explain if less or more was better
Awfull
Dude, are you kidding with this incomplete video. What a waste of my time.
to be fitted for a putter first step is to get measured for the length of putter. not the price fit
Reflection Bay had the worst customer service of the many courses I've been to in Vegas. Been there twice and both times the pro shop staff had attitudes and were annoyed about asking if they offered a military/veteran discount. Which they did a small discount the first time, but the second time there was zero discount. F!@$ Reflection Bay. There are better options for less money that also offer a military/veteran discount.
This is all wrong. You fit for length first and then lie. If you’re eyes aren’t over the ball, proper alignment isn’t possible. The player can then try different head shapes and alignment aids to determine which one yields the best results.
true and noticed what the recommended putter is
Is it me or does your accent keep changing from aussie to american
Did you guys make your own laser cup or is that aid something you can buy?
This is genious
Would be good if you told us what adjustment you made
Imagine that, you line up the most expensive putter perfectly every time.😂
Had 3 putter fittings, and got recommended 3 head styles, each one was supposed to be a goodfit..probably the best profit margin for shop...
Just a tease, no real help.
Great and simple advice as everything about putting is meaningless if you’re not aimed at your target. I say that like I’ve known it forever but if I have I sure don’t practice it. Meaning I still manage to buy putters I like the look and feel of that end up being hard to align. I guess my thinking is that I’ll get aligned after I find the putter that I like. Which is exactly why this video is so dead on correct in finding a putter you like AND aim correctly without adjusting your normal set up. Because I know I can line up correctly on a practice green after adjusting. But on the course if it doesn’t come naturally without thinking about it, it’s going to go haywire fast. Which it does often because I don’t follow this advice.
I have a consistent block in my irons & I have a strong feeling it’s lie angle. I stand at 6’2 & got standard clubs. Any time I get anything above a 8 iron I can feel a block & try to save it. I feel having to stand too far with longer irons makes me too flat?
not helpful at all
I set mine up on the “hardest settings” put the weight more in the face, lowest loft angle. I put it like this because if I can hit good shots with this setup I can hit it off anything
You left one out, maybe it’s the setting on the monitor you’re hitting.
What adjustments did you make though
How did you get the mirror on the putter face
My question would be, how much does putter grip size affect stroke ?
I love my Aussie Putting Mate. I use before I play each round during my warm up. Easy to keep in my golf bag.
Yo. I know you probably make money with people coming in to see you but that info of what you changed would be much appreciated
How do we know it was the driver adjustment and not the swing of the player? The only way to accurately determine the difference adjustments to the driver make, is by using something like iron Byron that swings the club identically every time. The human element - especially for most amateurs who will be using these clubs, is just too great a margin of error to effectively determine a change that this video claims. Go to most ranges and just watch. Seldom, will you see someone hitting the ball consistently enough that you could determine how an adjustment to their club could make a consistent SIGNIFICANT change. I'm a 5 handicap, and I consider it a "victory" if I can make 3 swings in a row that are "on the button". But hey, you gotta sell clubs like cars...the new one is always better than last year's model.
Tried it. Now hiting the left side of the forest
With the smash factor stuck at 1.5 how can we tell it wasn’t just face location that changed the spin?
hi Brendan, great video! did you adjust to a more upright lie angle?
Come on Edmundo, a blind man could see he adjusted the lie angle so it sat flatter to the ball!
@@willcookson2194 No. He should have adjusted to more upright lie angle by seeing from the second shot's Launch angle and Height were higher than those of the first shot. Also the second shot was more left (draw) than the first one, the result of an upright lie angle?

Re edit this and tell us what lie you used during every shot
Justin thanks for the input we will try that on our next one, appreciate the help
What did you actually do? Just flatten the lie?
Used the adjustment sleeve from the upright setting
Amazing
Waste of time asking what lie flat or upright he doesn't answer
