A little tip at the intro don’t talk on camera when the intro music is playing no point can’t hear you
I had a copyright strike so it messed up the whole intro for me, it does state this in the actual video description. I'm not a professional at film making or editing but learning as I go. Good luck.
Here from the Goldbridge stream, you've got new fans!
Thank you kindly buddy
👍👍👍
What a beautiful Common ! shame you didn`t have a bucket of water at hand to keep her wet !! Sorry boy`s ,bad practice !!!
The clips were edited and cut out to not labour it too much, and of course we did have a bucket to hand as always, trust me the fish had plenty of water throughout. 45 years of angling, we are fully aware of fish welfare.
Do u add the salt when pre soaking particles before cooking thanks in advance
No add it after cooking and cooled into the cooking liqueur.
So let cool down completely and can I then add flavour when cooled down aswell
@KofiGyasi-twum yes pal
Cheers tried it once’s before but messed up so many people don’t explain as well as you have thanks for your reply
You need a good bit of himalayan fine grade salt for it to work
nice fish mate.did you stop the canal carping.
Yes unfortunately, someone found where I was fishing and decided they would fish the area after all the pre-baiting, SCUM
Loved both partsmate and well done on om PBs
Thanks mate, sorry for late reply too.
Fantastic video great content as with all the other videos on the channel. Lake looked amazing rather have a carping camping trip over a glamping trip any day. Nice one lads well done 👍🏻
Kind words thank you, it was a memorable trip for sure.
Quality footage mate and a great ending to a great week’s fishing.
Agreed mate top week.
Great Vlog very enjoyable watch, well done boys some excellent fish caught by both 🎣
Thank you for the kind comment, I try to tell the whole story and share the experience.
What tarp is that over your bivvys mate ?
5x4 from Ebay pal think it was around £20
Ah perfect mate thanks how are you holding the tarp up ?

🙌 Great session!
Thank you, my 3rd time at Brie and always fulfills my needs.
No screaming delkism spice on the steak ??
I had it couldn't get the lid off 🤔😡🤣
@@carpcampcook I’d contact delkims PR department and complain I’m sure he will send you a free tin 😂 know him top bomber. Maybe the spice is that spicy 🥵 the lid has fused shut.
@simonhinson9367 he lives down the road from me I will see him soon ha
Absolute brilliant week, great place, great lake and great company, a top social with PB’s 👍👍
Yes mate great week and some cracking captures, moments and laughs along with our back ache 🤣

Haha 😂 I’ve had that happen to me. Hooked mine though somehow 🙄😂
Nightmare ain't they, absolutely no purpose in life apart from being crispy with hoi sin 🤔🤣
Nice fish that eh mark, bet you wish you could of had more time in the swim eh mate, tite lines
Special fish pal, wild canal carp are like no other. Cheers pal
Well in mate! Glad you managed one this time, 100% worth all the effort. Tight lines bud
Cheers buddy, thank you kindly.
Nice one mate.well deserved.i look forward to seeing a 20 plus.i no what you mean anout the fish kill.i remember fishing the sloosh 20 plus years ago.used to get plenty of carp.peperami was the killer bait for them.bream didnt bother with it aswel.well done anyway.
Thank you buddy, it's very challenging but very rewarding, our canal will never be the same in my lifetime. Good luck.
Thank you all for your kind words and appreciation, much love
looks like one of the sankey fish that was put in when all the water drained away ;) the big ghostie from the sankey went in there was 30+
I've seen that common many times, certainly a canal resident, not a sankey fish. As to the ghostie, that's never been seen or caught to my knowledge.
All the hard work makes the capture so much sweeter 👍 well in
It most certainly does thank you too, very much appreciated.
Get in there!! Result
Cheers mate 👌
God sake get on with it how do I preserve them? 😅
Salt or vac seal, salt preserves for months on end even a year if right amount is use, vac seal you should get a good month if stored correctly in an air tight bucket. Good luck
Pre-baiting for a month builds up the anticipation, and finally getting the rods in must be such a thrill. Canal carping sounds like a unique and rewarding challenge, with the promise of encountering some truly special creatures. Count me in for the adventure - can't wait to join you on your quest to catch a canal carp! Nice channel I subb
Very kind words thank you kindly. It's A challenging campaign in between work too, but the rewards are incredible to say the least. All the recent canal sessions are on the channel too from making the bait to actually prebaiting, time consuming, patience and true desire to catch these special creatures. Send your channel link, I will repay the sub. Good luck with everything.
Hi buddy great watch new subscriber here 🎣🐟👍🏻could you help me with the rules of closed season are we allowed to fish our local canals during closed season im not having a dig of any sort I would just like to know to more I love your style of angling and I love fishing all sorts of waters and respect all fish thanks for your help 🎣🐟👍🏻
Hi Thanks for the sub appreciated. There's no closed season on canals, but every club has different rules so would be worth reading them first. Ours is all year round fishing. Good luck with your angling too.
@@carpcampcook thanks buddy for the advice much appreciated I think my local canal the Basingstoke canal isn’t own by a club any more but I will definitely look up before thanks again and good luck 🎣🐟👍🏻
You too buddy.
Hi mate just about to do some particle how much salt would you add to 5kg particle for preservation
At least a kilo pal, don't use table or cooking, pink himalayan is the best
Put the salt in the particle water when they have cooled overnight to disperse into all the particles
@@carpcampcook ok mate I’ll add the kg if salt to the particle with water just over the top of the bait and give it a good stir How long would It last like this in a plastic 4Litre jar Thanks for reply mate
Months pal. Keep the liquid with the particle in the jar too 😉
@@carpcampcook I will do mate
Good effort mate, looked like some decent bream there even though they weren't the target. I've subscribed, hope to see you pull a nice canal carp out of there in future, tight lines 🎣
Hi Thank you kindly for the sub it really is appreciated. Yes carp are very elusive here, so makes it all tge rewarding when I do get one. Good luck too.
Patience, Effort and good luck is always required ❤
Any tips on fermentation process to get best quality particle thanks.
Hi pal. Soak for 24 hours minimum, cook and leave in the bucket in a warm place for as long as you dare 😀 you can always add fructose/demarera or caster to aid fermentation. Good luck too.
Thank you good luck on the canals
You too pal, good luck.
Good luck on the start of your campaign mark.
Cheers Paul appreciate it 🤛
Hello mate, i am all so a big believer in particles. Can you do a video on your tiger nut grinder. Keep spreading the good word about particles. The views will come 🎣🎣
Thank you kindly for the feedback. Yea I will do one with the grinder in a few weeks, I need to order some standard tigers anyway, I won't grind up the XXL too expensive. Thank you Jonathan.
@carpcampcook Thank you, I could do with something like that, but for maze
@@jonathancunliffe it will do maize too, pellets also
The mike sounds ok mate, about the red maize,do you dye it or can you buy it like it is mate
Hi Thank you for the feedback it really helps me, thank you kindly. No you can buy red maize matey.
Hello mate where r u picking the tiger nuts from if you don’t mind saying Mike sounds spot on mate cheers Karl
You mean purchasing them from? I had them from selling days of Cheshire Particle. Thank you for the mic feedback too really appreciated
That’s a belter
Cheers pal, that was the first session after a month of pre-baiting on the canal, 10 minutes it melted off ❤️
Great vlog mark, cant wait to see the sessions, and cant wait too get out my self. Good luck & happy hunting.😁
Thank you kindly its much appreciated. Good luck for the year ahead.
Ive done this same thing apart from alot more bait. Ive used himalayan rock salt in clumps and as much ground and clumps. Not sure if ive used enough tho. Ive noticed today after couple months i think, that the tops had a thick layer of mould. Ive taken the mould away. But not sure if its ok, or what to do. Should i leave the lids on or add more salt. Or just not worry about it.
Hence I used the super fine grade himalayan as it coats the particles and dispearses much quicker creating a saline solution equalling PVA friendly. Pay a little extra buddy I promise it will make life much easier in preservation. Good luck for the year ahead 👌

@@carpcampcook do you think whats happened to my particle will be still ok to use. I mean i looks fine, smells sweet. So im guessing its probably ok. 👍
Yes buddy it will be fine, if its smells sweet it's fermenting which I'd a major plus. If your worried, mix up some normal table salt with water and tip it in your bucket and coat everything, this will further preserve without spending on fine salt, or even go B&M and just buy a tub of himalayan from there £1.09 tip it in with water to fill above your particle, it will last for years.
@@carpcampcook ok thank you very much.
Found you mate.just subbed now.was talking to you today.wont say were.tight lines
Good man and thanks for the sub 👌🤛
Good Video 👍
Thank you means a lot 👌
Mate I was proper gutted about that mirror 😫
Me too mate, but least you witnessed it 🤛
The venues I fish do not allow bait boats. Lazy mans baiting.
Everyone's choice how they fish, if it aids catching, that's what we are there to do, also fishing to snags and under overhangs where fish lay up, again aids captures. Good luck with your angling.
Last year I pre baited and fished with Tiger nuts for 6 months But I never got a bite. Even though I did manage to catch many carp on my other rod with various other baits.
Every venue and fish react totally different to different baits, rigs and bait colours, weather conditions, one day you think you have broken the code, the next they pull your pants down again, that's fishing. Good luck.
Look forward to another campaign in 2024.
Caremelised 😂
😆
Nice, love that Sweetcorn Blend!!
Lovely blend and nice visual appearance too 👌
