People need to get out of their comfort zones & include themselves. It’s on you to be involved or reach out to others. What better place to learn to do that except college where you should be open to all kinds of ppl, even those you superficially think might be different than you. Learn from those who are different. That’s how you grow. Btw, college food, dorms and administration complaints have been around since the first colleges were established. It’s nothing new. It’s one of those things you laugh about later.

So glad the algorithm somehow sent me here. I was in the Class of 2018 and it’s wild to hear what things have changed or stayed the same. Plus one to being careful on where you sleep around-I made that mistake with someone in my freshman dorm who was also in my same engineering major. Don’t do it. On a serious note, absolutely nuts that they’re still peddling the “#1 happiest students” bullshit. We averaged a suicide per year while I was at Vandy, and like y’all said it is not a big school. They also gutted mental health services my last year. It used to be that once you got in, you could see a therapist every other week until you graduated. My last year they switched to short term therapy only. Truly the opposite of fixing the problem. I hope y’all have a great senior year!
