Thank you so much Isis and Funny you say that. I was already planning on spending couple weeks (maybe even a full month) this summer in Denver. Planning on driving up with kids. I bought a bed made for the model 3 so we can stop at an RV park and charge over night and sleep in the back 😁. We’ll see how it goes.

Thanks for asking. If you are just printing it out like zine style in a regular printer it’s up to you but in my experience if you are working with a print company then you will need to work with them and get paper size, cut lines, bleed lines, gutter size and safe zone measurements. Most the companies I have worked with will have a pdf that talks through all the measurements. Some even have templates setup for indesign or illustrator so you don’t have to mess with string it up. Great question. I haven’t done a follow up on this break down but two quickly answer here, yes I did 2 successful Kickstarter campaigns that allowed me to start to buy inventory so I can get the printing price down to about $13.50 a magazine by ordering 100 copies at at time. If I were to order more I could get it lower but I’m not selling fast enough to do bigger orders than that at a time. Hope that helps and thanks so much for watching.

🤣 thanks so much. I’ve been wanting to do a video like this for a while. I was trying to tease out how isolating is to be a independent creator, especially in social media. As I have noticed this through conversation with other artist as well. Painters, ceramic artist, authors, coders and we all identify that there is often a romantic view on what it is like to be an artist. You probably understand this yourself as a you travel and work remote. Anyways, thank you so much for commenting and watching Jordan.

@@3vies I totally agree man, I think i'ts romanticized for two reasons: 1) Most wagies have boring fungible lives and being independent from "the system" is an impossible dream for them, so they hype it up in their heads (Like that trip to Italy that you're never going to actually take) 2) This instagram/ life-style pornography/ FOMO marketing thing that's been getting big on the internet. It doesn't actually teach you how to be an "entrepeneur" or whatever, utopia pipedream sells better than reality. I recommend cutting out all social media (block the domains on your host file), and use auto-redirecting minimalist frontends when you NEED to use them (like nitter for twitter, teddit for reddit ect), using a grey scale filter on your phone, deleting all worthless apps on your phone, keeping your phone in a different room than your bedroom/ in your bag (not using it as an alarm), ect. I'm still experimenting on different techniques to disconnect from Babylon lol.
