Just an average guy that enjoys tournament fishing and putting together videos of my trips. I hope you enjoy them too! JCJ stands for Jim (myself), Chase (my son) and Jim(my dad). And soon to add grandkids! So thanks for joining us on our fishing trips!

Lost a few good fish that would've made a great day here. I did get my personal best smallie for here though! #bassfishingohio #fishermanscentral #fishshimano #dobyns #toyotatundra amzn.to/4gGJXTc

The wind kept me off the water today so I took advantage of the cooler temps and got some deer season prep done. #deerhuntingohio #carrollcountybigbucks

@@spikecamden9860 thanks!
yesssssssss!!! Here we are again bro!!!
👏
Great bag for Milton and as you said some days it's a struggle, was for me today on the Black River in Lorain
@@VAFSH4LIF been tough everywhere recently. But keep casting!
Great video sir. Pulling in the 4 pounder makes it all worth while
@@von6437 thank you!
Awesome video sir,👏,salam satu hoby..👍🏻👍🏻
always a hit or miss month with me too here in NEO, tight lines!!
@@benonem yep! Tough month
And what lake is that?
That was in Bones, near the ramp. I’d say my favorite is around the ski zone area in Turkeyfoot
@@jimbaumgardner1436 thank you
Where’s your fav portage lakes spot I’m on vacation for the summer so don’t worry I won’t be in any tournaments 😂 But seriously I never do any good on these lakes
That place should be filled in with dirt! 😂😂
nice vid man!
@@benonem thank you!
Someone put this dude on bass masters🐐
@@DomAllen-vt3hj 😂
So I used to fish with my dad when I was like 6 and 7 but then we got busy and never really fished again until now and I’m 13 turning 14 and i am getting back into fishing and I live near Punderson State park and I’ve gone there and got night crawlers and I have some lures but im not catching any bass and I can’t stop catching bluegill and all year I’ve probably only caught 20 bluegill and a black crappie but it was tiny but my dad has caught a bunch of bluegill but he did catch a nicely sized channel catfish which was 1.5 pounds (estimate) but yeah if you could give me some advice on lures or bait or fishing spots in the area but I don’t have a boat or canoe.
@@Declan2Drippy this time of year throw a worm or any type of soft plastic. Work them on the bottom slowly. Anything in black and blue color and green pumpkin color. You should be able to get some bass bites. It’s definitely a little tougher from shore
@@jimbaumgardner1436 thank you for the advice
Hell ya Slim Jim slamming on portage. Fisherman Centrals one of a kind. -from Your bestest friend Dom ;) P.S this is playing on a loop on the TV at FC
@@LoganKnoebel lol. Thanks dude
Jim, nothing like being on the water when that sun is coming up! Well done.
What baits would recommend for largemouth bass on mosquito lake
@@BDS1399 fish the grass with topwater and worms/creature baits
@@jimbaumgardner1436ok thank you I’m going July 22 this year
I fished last Friday, and talked to several people who also fished Thursday who did very well as you. this was on North Reservoir and Hower Lake. It seems as though we don't get to choose when those fish decide to cooperate---- they do. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@matzdavid1 very true
Good day on the water
Thanks! It was fun
Jim, overslept!! your license may be under review!! lol Great job bud... love that boat!!! and video!!!
😂
What baits do you recommend? Fishing up there end of the month and I’ve never been! Thanks
It’s a great topwater lake. Otherwise, flip the grass and grass lines with creature baits and worms
In generl...heck, both.
I love Skeeter bassin!! Looks like the Chatter bait and wacky worm did the trick. JMO, but the music kind of killed the video for me. :)
The music in general or that particular music?
Wow! Blast from the past. We used to drive over from Wellsburg WV to waterski on Tappan Lake!
Decent rig.
Great bass lake now. . .watch out for the pike and occasional muskie.
Throw on a brown/chart. Med. Rebel crab and fish the river! You will not be disappointed.
A nice one for the paddle tail.
nice job.
Nice logo. Great work on the video. Enjoy your work. I just subscribed to your channel. Good luck this year. Tight lines.
Thank you. I hit ya back😎
@@jimbaumgardner1436 appreciate you
Is there crappie in the lake ty
I’m not too sure about the crappie population there.
Good for you Jim, so happy things are better health wise.. Trust me I know the feeling. I want to film this year myself. Great video man. I love it!! God bless you Buddy.
Thanks bud!
Nice video Jim!
Thank you!
Nice year of catches Jim!
Thanks!
Great job guys. A video well made.
Which lake are you on?
Portage
Nice video...but your audio fluctuations makes it difficult to watch
Thanks. I know….unfortunately I can’t use an external mic with my go pros
I was there last year.. great lake btw.. wish my boat was working 😢..lol
Boat problems suck. Hope you get it going
Omg that was some good eatin right there❤
I was out Saturday and got the skunk, a lot of the weeds seem to have disappeared
I’m sure it’s been treated recently. They always ruin the grass.
So great. Wish I was there
you know dad was just happy to come hang out and enjoy his day lol, you did great
I was out at portage yesterday ended up catching 1 small one but had 6 miss my frog what should I be fishing right now at portage? Docks?
I haven’t been there in about 2 weeks. If they’re missing a frog, follow it up right away with a senko. I’d probably be fishing those grass lines
@@jimbaumgardner1436 alright I was fishing the cheese stuff what lake has the best grass lines?
I like East in the summer
I need lessons lol…. Never have a day like that….. seems like off the bank is the ticket…. Good job guys !
It’s all about the offshore grass at Portage after the spawn. Do you live near it?
Yes…. About 30 minutes give or take
Same here
Great day!
😎👍🏻
Awesome set up 😊. How come everyone has great gear? 🤩
Little by little. Lol
Nice rig sir
Thank you!
Turkey foot?
Yes
Awesome video. Love fishing Lake Erie. You made some nice catches. I’ll drop some Lake Erie videos soon hopefully 🎣💥
Cool. Can’t wait to get back on Erie!
Awesome, high-quality video. You have solid skills. Beautiful lake and great you can fish with your Dad. Next time leave a few fish for him...just kidding. Thanks for sharing this video. It just popped up on my screen and I really enjoyed the content. Top shelf. Take care.
Hey, my channel is mostly from NE Ohio. Great videos!!!😊
I mean your content is solid and entertaining 😊
Thank you! I subscribed to yours. I’ll check your videos out
@@jimbaumgardner1436 Appreciate it. I will sub to yours shortly. Keep up the great work. Seriously beautiful content - I will be watching and learning as I grow my new channel. Take care.
Any tips?
Fish around any offshore grass you can find. Tough to do since they’ve killed the grass
