Off grid with Lee, Barry and Klohie 🐾🌲
Приєднався 22 жов 2011
Hi there, I have been living off the grid for 7 years and absolutely love everything about it. Lots of hard work but definitely having fun living this lifestyle.
I garden and preserve a lot to get through the winter. I love mushroom hunting and foraging a variety of plants. I love to bake and cook as well.
I do many other things and I look forward to sharing what I have learned over the years with you.
See you soon,
Lee, Barry and my Klohie… love my dog so much!

Save Time And Money! #hamburger #canning #pantry #foodpreservation
Hi everyone!
For the hamburgers, I added some Worchester sauce, mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, 4 eggs, 1/4 cup of ketchup and salt and pepper.

I used a large mouth canning ring for my mold, pressed firmly and shaped them. Put them on a cookie sheet to partially freeze, then vacuum seal.
The canned hamburger was just cooked enough to take the pink out. Add them to the jars leaving a quarter inch head space. Add a little water or beef or chicken stock. Debubble and pressure can for 75 minutes.
I have an older video when I did it before. I obviously bought the beef for a cheaper price because they worked out to $.75 apiece, though I do think these ones are bigger!
Have a great day! 😊🌻🌲

Hi, I thought I would make a video about where we started our journey of living and building an off grid way of life. It has been a great journey lots of blood, sweat and tears but I wouldn’t change anything, maybe just one! I would love one of those backhoes I definitely would put it to good use! I hope you enjoy the video and have a great day! ❤️

Awesome , yummy burgers 🍔
So good

Those burgers look amazing

Thanks a lot Peach! ❤
-- Deer season will be here soon in Tennessee. So, this video gives me ideas for the long-term storage of the deer meat. I have been watching over thirty deer on the back end of our property.
That sounds like a great opportunity to fill the freezer
Looks great, that would make some nice Sheperd Pies. Now go get some barefoot grounding going on, mushrooms are ready for picking after a good rain.
Great idea! That is the best feeling bare feet on the ground! Have fun 😊
🔥
Best burger I ever had!!
I learned something today with you. ❤ Thank you for sharing 😊.
Glad you learned, I am learning all the time!
❤ hello. Tfs
Hello 😊
Thanks for sharing
Ba-woooo🐺
Wonderful and interesting video friend! Have a blessed week!
Thank you! You too!
Thanks for sharing your video.
Wow sounds way too close!
Yes! Can’t trust letting Klohie out that’s for sure!
Wow that's some good work 👏
Thanks!
👋🏾 New subscriber Looks good ❤
Thanks!
Wow. Very nice job.
Thanks!
Perfect. Beautiful soup. I will be freezing my tomatoes from now on
Yes, I’ve been canning tomatoes for many years and I’ve never frozen them before. It’s actually so much easier.
Very nice. Looks like y'all know what you are doing
Thanks, definitely living and learning!
I just subbed. I should be 189.
Thank you! 😊
Saw your comment at Collegehill Farm. Joel's channel. Came over to check you out. Nice video.
Awesome! Thank you!
I'll try this, and with added basil to the pizza 🍕 sauce, it will be delicious 😋 TFS
With all that spices I can just imagine how delicious it tastes.. thanks for sharing..new friend here from Growing My Own.
Thanks and welcome
That's exactly what happens to my onion patch too, gets 3X more weeds than other beds. Practically feral if left unweeded for more than a month lol
Hi Lee. Thanks for posting the recipe, and again, learning something new. Steam bath. Take care.
Your welcome! 😊 Have a great weekend!
Nice! they're not as easy to grow as most people imagine😎
I see that!
Utilising all the stump removal techniques, love it
Gulp
I had a great time watching this video Lee I love how comfortable you are in the kitchen keep doing what you're doing you're going to be a star
Thanks so much Peach! I’m just doing me!
Mmmm yummy!!! ❤
On my way 😆
Great channel and videos I really liked. Subscription is out. Greetings from Austria like 12 Johnny
Hi there, Thanks for joining my channel, I’m glad you liked my video! 😊

So do you guys!

Yummy
It was
Sweet potatoes are a first for me this season too haven't yet harvested but if I get half of what you got, I'd be happy...big or small they are still edible...TFS
Yes not bad for the first year. They say 4-6 weeks to cure!
Hi! I tried commenting yesterday but the video disappeared. Lol. Here you are! ❤ Worst part of gardening is the weeds!!
Here I am! Weed pulling day today!
Green tomatoes got frost bitten, my 1st garden faired well regardless. Im in northern BC Can'tada. I save several of your vids in my featured playlists.
I dig my sweet potatoes when the vines begin to die Lee They may get a little bigger, and they are gorgeous
Thanks, too late I dug them all up. I got a few decent size ones. First year doing it I learned a lot for next year!
I think it's pretty exactly like it is Lee! Weeds and all! You are doing a fantastic job I am happy to be part of your community 💚💚
Thanks Peach! Happy we met! 😀
Thanks for showing us your garden Lee, what a great space you have. Sorry I can’t give you any info on sweet potatoes as I have not grown them yet. If you can do a video on your weeds sometime before pulling up, most are edible and medicinal. Even though we are on different continents we do have the same plants sometimes x
Thanks, great idea for the weeds!
Nice work!
Thanks!
Wonderful content. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day!
Thanks! 😊🌻
Lol
She’s my girl!
The stump dump!!
He wants you to play ball with him.
Yes, all day long!
Did Klohie partake, LOL?
Of course! 😀
