I have a 12 x 12 workshop behind my house in Texas. For a small shop, it is capable of producing some big projects. This is a page filled with fun and creativity. I am active in the lives of my children and use my love of woodworking and gadget building to make them smile. Enjoy the fun videos!

Greenworks Mower Review - Re-Load
Переглядів 1003 роки тому
This Video was Blocked due to Copyright issues with music. I put in Royalty Free music and Re-Loaded it. I like my new mower so much I had to share. Since this was made...I had a small problem with the blower. The set screw came off the fan and it had to be fixed at Northern Tool. Took a few weeks but no charge under warranty. Take a look!

Those look amazing, what do you charge for the TCU boards?
What is a charcuterie? Why do they need boards? 😂😂😂😂 Love it!
Wow. Great craftsmanship man.
What type vinyl is that
Great video! Did you use the same process for the fire department boards? If so, how many stencils did that one need?
Making custom corn hole boards. Question: Do you have to pay a royalty for using a school logo?
What thickness is the plywood?
Thanks
Those look incredible.
What grit do you sand with before you actually lay your stencil? Also is you clear coat you use in the beginning the same clear coat you use in the end to finish your boards?
Great work, what is your vinyl cutter and what do you use for vinyl? If you don’t mind me asking?
Nice work! I'm making a few sets right now and it does take a lot of work to get these boards to look nice and make them useable.
what kind of stencil paper do you use?
Wait, so you take off the backing and put it back on a couple inches higher? Why not just peel a couple inches off the bottom and cut off a small strip?
Awesome work! Your patience far exceed mine.
Great job! Where did you get the Lighting McQueen template???
You did a great job. Is 1 pound per bag the official weight or your preference? Thanks for making this video.
Great stuff! What kind of clear coat did you use please?
Sorry...Ive been neglecting my page recently. I use the Valspar Semi-Gloss water based clear. Home Depot $69 gal.
@@cubmasterdarren thanks
Last question! Do you find putting down a couple clear coats on the top before painting prevents bleed through?
@@livingthedream29 absolutely. I even put a coat of clear on top of the stencil sometimes before I put additional coats of color.
Goodness that’s a lot of time but awesome!
Thank you so much for sharing! You are by far one of the best video tutorials out there. Like below, I would love to see the name of the paints and stains you are using. I even learned something new with the stencils and reg marks. LOVE IT! How do we order one from you?
Sorry...Ive been neglecting my page recently. I use the Rustoleum 2X primer and paint combo spray paints and the Valspar Water Based Semi Gloss from Home Depot.
I really appreciate your videos. Thank you. I could really use your advice on a set of boards I’m working on. It’s my first time with layered colors and the bottom layer keeps peeling up after I try to pull off the oracal mask stencil that is being used for the top layer. Any ideas?
Sorry...Ive been neglecting my page recently. I hope your set turned out OK. I don't usually have trouble with paint peeling if I use 3 coats of clear under the color. If you just paint right onto the bare wood it will peel up.
What graphics design program are you using to import into SCAL?
Sorry...Ive been neglecting my page recently. I use the US Cutter software that comes with the vinyl cutter. Thanks so much.
Nice video. Handy card holder. Easy to make. Feedback: distracting music, kind of annoying, not worth it. Either a softer music or no music. My humble opinion. Thanks.
the music's not the best, but it by no means prevents me from watching the video. In fact i find the video most instructive. I intend to use the idea. Thanks for the Video!
I noticed that you don't respond to many of your comments, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway. First of all, thank you for your content and attention to detail. I'm wondering how long it takes you to build a set and how much you charge on average.
Awesome! I didn't realize you made a video out of this!
I have the same US Cutter machine, but have never learned how to use it. It looks like you’re in Texas like I am. I’d love to come build a set with you and learn house to use the Cutter machine.
How can I order a Dallas Cowboys set?
Your finished product is great! Amazing job! The sprayer "should" do a better job then the brushes, maybe you have to adjust your setup a bit. Regardless, as I first stated amazing product at the end. Amazing work ethic and attention to detail!!!
Liked the video and would love to see the list of what you use with the links. Really like your stencil maker/cutter!! Awesome video!!!!
great job i use a sponge brush as well to lay down the urethane ,but i apply it with a foam roller and then put the roller and tray with tray liner into a trash bag, blow a little air in there and a sqeeze clamp to keep it airtight. Then i can use that same roller and tray over and over.
sorry can't watch because of the intrusive music👎
Really great video! What vinyl cutter do you use and does the software for it work with an apple laptop?
Sorry...I've been neglecting my page recently. It is the US Cutter MH 721. I have a surface pro so don't know about apple compatibility. Thanks.
Great job!!! I use that same paint for my projects including the clear coat and they work great!
Hi there - I’m looking for some direction and notice your comment and that you may be able to help? I made a new comment explaining my issue.
are you able to list the products you use in the video? specifically the spray pains and clear paints? thanks!
Sorry...Ive been neglecting my page recently. I use the Rustoleum 2X primer and paint combo spray paints and the Valspar Water Based Semi Gloss from Home Depot.
Great job! How can I get ahold of you? Have a project that I like to go over with you
Hope it won races
Great video! Thanks for the tip about using registration marks for multi-color vinyl stenciling. I'm about to paint my first cornhole board with vinyl stencil graphics, but only a single-color for my first go at it. This is just the video I was looking for. Do you ever stain the wood before the initial clear coat? Thanks.
I do stain on occasion. If I do...I clear coat on top of it before laying graphics.
lose the music, I got a headache which means no like and no subscribe. Sorry
Yeah the music was way too loud. And it wasn't even needed when your talking. Some ppl may complain about the type of music, that doesn't matter. It's the loudness and effort ppl have to make to listen to you talk and ignoring the music. Best of luck!
Agree. Nasty music, i always ask why?
do you have video on the attachment on the hardware and accessories
Sorry...Ive been neglecting my page recently. Yes. The how to build cornhole boards videos have sections about the hardware. Thanks for watching.
Please, the music, a little quieter would be nice!!
My Grandad as well. Very proud of you as always!
Awesome!!!
Great job Darren! Very cool, it turned out fantastic.
You should get a finer stone. You’re taking a lot of material off with that course stone.
Thanks for the review... I'm thinking of getting this mower...my area is mostly wet and the grass grows extremely fast....how long does the 5.0 battery run for in the lawnmower? I need minimum 40mins to do my garden....but would buy the 6.0 battery.... Thanks.
sorry for the delay. I havent put a timer on it because it depends on the depth of the grass and whether or not it is dry. I can mow my front and back yard on one 5 ah battery if I cut less than 1 inch dry.
@@bigblueworkshop3234 Thanks for the reply....I would cut my grass at about 2inch high. Does your machine bog down under hard conditions?
Nice Job Buddy! Super detailed
Only audio. No video
Many thanks for uploading! Do you have a second? I just uploaded a new song of mine on my channel. As a fellow music lover, I'd love if you'd check it out. I hope you enjoy :)
Love your background music
