Can sunflower be planted in Bayelsa?
Yes it can. Nigeria has good soil for such purpose
Price of Sunn Hemp Seeds?
The system is poor, no wonder the youth is leaving the country.
The women in the market are causing hunger in Ghana because there’s no regulation of price.
Great work Gee ❤

The market women have always been like this, that's what makes them so rich and influential. I suggest farmers organize something like a wholesaler market once a month at designated markets where they can sell to the public. This will expose the fraud going on
True
I feel your PAIN , at this point i don't think we have anyone who regulate the market , this is very discouraging and am sorry . I wish farmers Association can do something about this.
That’s an impossible task
Curious, why did you agree to sell it at 300ghs?
There’s no agreement, the cost of bringing it all the way back home after hours of keeping it in the bag will be unrealistic. There was no choice
I can relate bro. Hmmm I have actually lost hope
Don’t loose hope, find new ways to push forward
Why don't you sale it by yourself
That’s one way we do it
I think farmers should find a way of reaching the consumer
That’s the plan
Hi, loving your content. Very interested in the sunflower production. I will be in touch.
Awesome to here from you
Forming a strong association and watchdogs in the markets might help.
Sure could help
It’s all due to the fact that we have the most stupid and corrupt government ever for the past 8 years
Hmm
It's not just the goverment. it's you people's greed! Ghanaians love money too much!
Find ways to sell it yourself. Pack them in smaller boxes and sell them by weight or per box. Green pepper can be stored for weeks.
Sensible enough 🙏🏻
Why dont you get in contact to shoprites , Supermarket markets etc ,may be there will be a solution
Their price isn’t any better
It's very sad bro, really really sad. This pricing issues was one of my major challenge last year when I was in Ghana to work on my habanero. But we are not giving up. I believe we will overcome all of them someday.
Most definitely
Price standardization is the main issue here bro. So what i and my bro do is to take our produce to the market and sell it directly to household consumers.
Price standardization is all bro
Bro, very sorry it's so sad but what you lack is skill for marketing, connect your produce to the right buyers....go to the Hostels, restaurants, local chop Bars and fast food joints and you will make so much trust me, these are your markets ...I know you will thank God for this advice later. All is not lost keep it up.
Marketing? No! It's a general structural problem. There's no standardized pricing system in Ghana.
Thanks very much for the advice 🙏🏻
************************ STOP BLAMING GHANA AND BE CREATIVE WITH YOUR FARM PRODUCE ******************** Ghana is not your problem; you are your own worst enemy. BLAMING GHANA for your troubles is a lazy man's attempt to escape responsibility. You are the one struggling to sell your farm produce, Ghana has nothing to do with your inability to sell your PEPPER. Before you grow anything, you need to do your market research to find out if you can make money out of it. There are other farmers selling their pepper with no problem. You just have to find better channels to sell your pepper either to RESTAURANTS, or convert them to some finished products like PEPPER SAUCE, SHITO or something that can be used in a CHOPBAR. DREAM BIG and stop blaming GHANA, what you are doing is a LAZY MAN'S efforts
It’s rather sad. I share in your pain Sorry about that
Thanks for your concern 😊
I never allow any market woman near me or my farm never. For beginer farmers please start with chilli pepper 🌶️. Dry and store and sell am small small. Stay strong vegy farmer. We feel your pain
Thanks very much
Why don't you allow any market woman near your farm?
I miss you
I miss you too
Very sad story, bro. I feel your pain. Greedy market women. The same, your people will come after the government if he tries to do something about it.
Hmm
Hi Bro, in UK here the farmers most them sell their produce at market no middle woman or man so they get a good money, you have to find a place at the market with your foldable table and you will be laughing because the money go straight to your pocket, no middle men. Also look for export opportunities as well. Don't give up, l can feel your pain but things will get better. God bless
Thank you 🙏🏻
Yes, that's the solution bro
I’ll look into that
