This is a well known concept. It’s called fast fashion and there are many groups and organizations that fight to raise awareness of how much this hurts our environment and so much more. There are also issues with the factory conditions and potential sex trafficking. You are not alone in seeing something wrong here it’s actually a big socio-political issue.

Temu is even worse. These sites use loopholes in import regulations, have sketchy records with forced or underpaid labour, exploit psychology to encourage unhealthy levels of consumerism, and probably some other things.

14 bathing suits for 4 days and then throw them away?!? Wow that's crazy! How many times a day is she going to change? That's not only littering but like contributing to the problem that fast fashion currently is, bad quality clothes for "cheap" prices that end up in the trash faster than they should, contaminating and continuing the cycle of producing more clothes than we need just to keep selling. Not even mentioning the lack of morality regarding the manufacturing process. I don't think you're being judgemental at all

You're not wrong, i completely agree. What she pays for those 14 suits she could've bought a high quality long lasting suit! But i feel like so many people these days think showing off and showing out somehow makes them above everyone else. "Look at ME! I have 14 suits and can look different in every photo beside you. While you look the same. I MUST be better than you....." Everyone wants to LOOK like money, but aren't humble enough to remember the hard work to MAKE that money. We are in the worst period of Over Consumption, imo.

I bought a canvas LV bag with my first bonus and within 2 years the purse was cracked/broken in multiple places and the store refused to repair or replace it. I don't know what resale value this crap has. I ended up donating it... well maybe I could buy a fake LV from luxrul but these designers/robber barons don't even think about taking a dime from me. This one satisfies my fantasy of many authentic products and I can afford to buy them.
