Ah, bless you! Thank you! I have this extremely fine, super long staple alpaca hair/wool I got from a fiber festival and I tried using it in the same manner I'd been using rough slivers. Oh my, that didn't work AT ALL. I thought since it was in such a nice sheet I'd go ahead and keep it that way. Bad idea. So few videos really go into detail on this, so I really appreciate the help, now I know where I went wrong and what to try next and I'm so relieved!

Oh my goodness. I am in the US. Although I heard to get a piece of core wool 15cm long, I measured out 15 inches. That would be a large sheep head! I could not figure out how you wrapped that around your little finger! 😂
