We love biking around, as you can see. Serena took us on a tour around her local area. Lots of bike and walking tracks through the beautiful country side. Came across a very welcome self serve coffee/ ice cream stop. Then back through town to meet Joris and Nika for lunch.

Edam in the Netherlands. Home of Edam cheese. We rode to Edam from Volendam. An easy 20min ride.

Out bike riding we came across this lock just outside Monnickendam in the Netherlands.

Hired e-bikes for 2 days. First day, rode about 30k to and around the island of Marken. It’s connected to the mainland by a dyke. Returned to Volendam, where we were staying, by boat.

Lunch at the Castle

Anita and Francisco suggested we have day trip to Italy for lunch. Then visit their friends Darek, Camilla and daughter Julia who live at Caslano, near the border. Darek and Camilla are originally from Poland.

Had a great Saturday night in Pamplona. The town is preparing for the “Running of the Bulls” in July. These are the only bulls we’re going to be running with.

Our accommodation turned out to be a bit rustic, but Ok. Great location close to railway, trams & supermarket.
