Over here in New Zealand you don't pay to go to rehab the Government dose and thats how it should be all over the world as far as im concerned. You go to a detox first for about a week or two then go to rehab all payed for including Methadone its free and you can stay on it as long as you like as long as its helping you.

Its ashame that all this recovery stuff is the city and nobody explains the real reason or cause of addiction. I remember sitting in meetings... a thought would come... id play with it... then it would turn into a obsession. id have everything to lose but id still find myself on the el to kensington... and no matter how hard i fought not to get off at that stop... i no longer had control.... my mind would say no... but my legs would keep moving. People talk about the physical part... which is bad enough... and will keep you stuck... but its the mental obsession that makes you keep coming back. Once i understood that i had a mental obsession and fully understood how that works.. i began to get better and could stop it at the thought .
