Trail Tarp V1 Update
This is an update on the current test for the home made trail tarp from our $20 a week kit. This is actually a lesser version, IMHO, than the V 2.0 I did the video on. This tarp has been up since Late Aug 2015. I have not touched the tarp for over 5 months and this is what I found.

The final install of the newest version of the Trail Tarp. So far I love this one and have been testing it for a little over a month now. If I find something that becomes an issue I will update this and work on the next version. Be safe out there!

Bob's Quick Bow Saw Review

This is the Bob Dustrude Quick Bow Saw. This is a great saw and she is still going strong after several months of use. I have the 21" model which seems to be a nice middle of the road length between the Bahco Laplander and an axe. Definitely on my tops list! I purchased mine from Four Dog Stoves.

Yours is the 4th video ive come ascross on how to do this, and the FIRST to mention hitting the left turn signal three times. Every one else said twice and i couldnt get it to work. Thank you for the accurate information. thats one less thing to worry about this summer on my road trip.

the belt clip has to go, I personally do not like kydex unless working around water all the time. I like leather plain and simple but that's me. Good job

+Snowalker13 Thanks bro. I would've trashed the entire sheath if it was my knife, blasted the finish off, and put a 90 degree spine on it. But not my knife and he seems to be worried about some warrantee. I explained that if he REALLY needed the mods I suggested that the option of needing the warrantee probably wouldn't be an issue. Of course I always judge my gear for worst case scenario. Thanks for the comment.

+Bionic Rob Absolutely great places to look Rob. I recommend for people to always check the shops and sales. I have always worked a lot of OT to get the bills paid so I haven't gotten much chance to hit the sales and I have my girls in the evening. I wanted people to know that you can find new stuff for reasonable cost and a consistent inventory. If you are looking to fill a gap and want to do it in a short amount of time these options are available. Thanks for the recommendation and covering the gap. Have a great day!
