came here because I just ate 4-5 choc chip cookies right now
too bad they removed challenges makes me want to use an apple watch now :(
This information is crucial to have when maintaining weight goals. No more pats on the back and rewarding myself because I lost some weight. Food choices come with a cost. Sometimes you don't want to pay the price of weight gain. Thank you for this vital information.❤
I earned my badge yesterday 3/16/24. It was brutal and I completely agree with you on everything you said. I did it on a NordicTrak Incline Traner. With breaks ended up putting 14.5 hours in. I started hitting the wall around 65k. I’m glad I did it but doubt I’ll ever do it again😊😊 and congratulations to you!
You could get an adjustable stem to take a more aero profile with bar ends to make a more pursuit handlebar position and there are people that take hybrids on century rides.. I know I have done 30 mile rides on my trek 7000
I also owned a 7100 which is probably heavier than the 730.... I now own a 7000 which is a better bike because I really didn't like the shock fork on the 7100 due to the weight
You keep hammering on the 730 being slow upright. There are people that want a dutch bike which is really slow... The 730 is a much better bike and value in my opinion...
Good job. I Can’t seem to get pass 16 miles without feet pain and groin getting numb!
you got this buddy! Regardless of what you decide to do, you still are an inspiration for many!
Hate to break it to you, but exercise is not an effective weight loss technique. Only eating less is. Impressive watts on the peloton bike. Keep riding outdoors!
P r o m o s m 😡
Why didn't you show the bike 😂
Shaboo shaboo is too fun
Ollie ollie in free! We need an update! LOL JK, hope you're OK.
I am good. I have shoot a couple of videos but I have been slammed. Try to have something out this weekend
@@mayhemfitness878 just checkin in on ya! Don't worry about the videos...we get it being busy!
The ride of chomoly steel is great. Have one.
It’s a nice older bike.
Congratulations 🎉🎊🎈🍾
Thank you!!
Great Job so far!!! I have loved watching all the videos. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much. I am hoping to see a noticeable weight loss soon to show off
Nice Mustang. I had a 1989 GT 5.0 that looked very similar. Loved that car.
awesome! ive just done this and recorded a vid about it but only for a week...its great watching your results for 4 weeks!
Thank you for your service!!!
Thank you
I agree with the small snack. For me i find at around 18 miles i lose some energy. Granted 7-15 miles was my workout for months i just switched to 20-25 mile rides 3 times a week
Absolutely awesome review of the Aventon Pace 500. I bought this ebike a couple of years ago and it is an amazingly well built ebike for the $1500 to 2K cruiser ebike range. I have about 1200 miles on it and it still looks brand new and functions like new. I’ve had the chain replaced once and I upgraded my seat to a long distance Bontrager saddle.
Thanks for posting I guess interested and possibly e-bikes but most important if anyone's making a bike tell a price important how fast to go how far it will go
Make sure you document your next 100K! I think I’m going to try for 100K on Black Friday this year!
I bought an Aventon Pace 500 on labor day 2019. A month ago it stopped working and I took it back to the local dealer I bought it from. Aventon customer service is nonexistent. (google that fact) There are only about 20 dealers in the US and they weren't communicating with my dealer. I decided to take the matter into my own hands and spent about an hour on hold trying to communicate with Aventon to find out why I can't get one. An upper-level Aventon person finally called my dealer and said they weren't getting any controllers " in the foreseeable future". I now have a very expensive bike sitting at my dealer taking up space. They are still selling them and those have working controllers but since they already have my $$ to hell with me. Buyer beware.
Dates are the best
I LOVE DATES!!! Yum 😋
I'm glad you got sorted out so quickly and with such helpful efficiency from the manufacturer. I've been looking at various e-bike videos and if I may be so bold to ask, how far can you travel on a full charge, particularly on roads and depending on whatever hills and level of assist you use? Regards.
Great question. This bike is listed at 40 miles of range. I have found with the hills near 25 to 30 is more realistic. I usually ride at 3 out of 5 pedal assist. I like this bike quite a bit and would recommend
Congratulations on a job well done. My neighbor and I have been riding now for 2 years. He and I have both lost about 35-40 pounds each. Last year we joined a local riding club and have really been enjoying riding with them. As we spend time in the saddles with them they have been talking about the Hotter n Hell Hundred. So this past May I signed up to go ride the HHH then he and another rider also signed up so the 3 of us are ready to ride HHH in the next few weeks. We ride 60-85 on the weekends, we ride about 25-35 miles Tuesday and Thursdays with team. Our team just finished in first place for the Texas Distance Challenge 3611.9 miles. We rode the perimeter as team effort in 16 days. The winds down here in South Texas have been brutal this year but we work through them. Stay safe out there.
Congratulations to you on your rides and weight loss. That’s awesome
I rode my first double century last September, on my 63rd birthday. Cardio wise, I had a bit left in the tank, however the last 30 miles both of my knees were screaming at me. No permanent damage, just overuse. Go for it!
I will do it. I need to find the time. I am very invested in the classic car scene and during Covid nothing was going on. Now I work 50 hours a week Monday through Friday and my weekends are pretty full. I am thinking late fall on a nice day would work because I wouldn’t be fighting the weather
Poor dude is breathing so hard he has to talk like Stevie 😂 keep up the good work man!
Thanks. I know I sound like I am dying on the peloton. Sorry

My biggest fear is steep hills, i will be riding my mountain bike for 10miles at the start :)
Great job! Question, do you jog or run at all? I don't think Ive seen you mention this if so.
I don’t. I have Achilles tendonitis in my left foot. I ran when I was younger. Now just bike, hike and walk

Nice review. I've got 560 miles on my new version Pace 500. No problems. Not much assist until PAS 3, which is my normal pace (sometimes 4 when bucking a wind). Oh, and the battery is also removable on the new version.

Great job! Do you ride clipless pedals?
No flats. Don’t trust clipless on the road.
You are a machine! Great job. Don't worry about the weight loss, it will come!
Thank you
Nice review 👍 - I have the aventure (love it) my wife is getting the Pace 500 - the new generation has the battery integrated into the frame - it's still removable for charging - GOD bless
Thanks I didn’t know you could still remove the battery on the next generation bikes. Do you find that you don’t get the stated range on your bike?
@@mayhemfitness878 I usually do about 16-18 mile - it probably will do the stated milage in ped assist 1-2 - but I find myself in gear 8 and P-asst 5 - I can get 33 steady - great work out , cause if you ain't peddling you ain't moving ....
@@BakerBaker1-9 Would you agree that "great workout" is a relative term? At PAS 5, there's no resistance and you're ghost pedaling.
@@jimbrew4529 NO I would not agree JB - for me it's a great work out and my wife as well - ped assist 5 in 8th gear just pushes me to keep up the speed , and when I ride that steady for 30 minutes , yes it's a good work out - and we are on them 3-4 hours at a time - love the bike -
@@BakerBaker1-9 Good to hear! Now, I see you have an Aventure. I'm talking about the new Pace 500. For folks looking to buy a 500, I think they'll find any assist over PAS 4 makes it more of an electric scooter, than a bike.
Keep the updates coming! Got myself a 1st gen step through 2 weeks ago and so far I’m loving the built and finish! No regrets on not getting the 2nd gen…maybe a little but they are heavier to fix in my hatchback haha
Great vid! im binging on everyones 100,000 challenge after i filmed mine last week. really enjoyed it and loved your candidness in your vid. congratulations!
