The Power of Faith and Surrender Remember that God has already won the victory! When we realize how many times the Lord has pulled us out of the fire (Isaiah 43:2-3), we can surrender to Jesus and trust in His power. -The Centurion's Faith In Luke 7:4-6, we see an example of the centurion's faith. He understood authority and power, and he recognized the depth and reach of Jesus' power over all the world. He pleaded, "Just say the word," knowing that Jesus could command sickness and death To flee with just a word, even from a great distance. "And Remember" Psalm 118:24 says, "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." We can rejoice in the knowledge that God is always in control and that He has already won the victory. Just like the centurion, we can pray with confidence and boldness, knowing that all power and authority are in God's hands. We don't have to worry or doubt, because God is always with us. Prayer Father, like the centurion, I am not worthy to come to You, yet You welcome me into Your presence anyway. I confess that sometimes I don't recognize Your full power, and I pray with uncertainty and doubt. Teach me to pray with confidence and boldness, knowing that all power and authority are in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen. Let us remember to be thankful for God's blessings and to trust in His power and authority. May we pray Remembering the centurion's faith, knowing that God can do all things. May we surrender to Jesus and trust in His victory.

𝑼𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 It was a few days before my 20th birthday, on Wednesday, March 8, 2006. It had begun to rain, and we were attending a seminar at my mother local church (City of the LORD Outreach Ministries Kalerwe), where I was the sound technician at the time. Before it started to drizzle, I asked money from one of my pastors to buy fuel for the generator so that we could keep it running and avoid interference with the sound system. He delayed giving me the money for petrol until the sound system turned out owing to a lack of fuel in the generator, at which point He contacted me and handed me the money. It had begun to rain, and I felt terrible, filled with anger and bitterness from within, wondering why he had not given me the money to buy fuel before it began to pour. Of course, I walked to a nearby gas station and purchased petrol. Before recharging the generator, I asked one of my friends, an Usher with an umbrella 🌂, to cover me since the rain had worsened. He supported me. I ignited the generator and walked inside to turn on the PA system, leaving my colleague who helped me with the umbrella on the side doorway. Before I reached the center of the Church building, the wall behind me fell, hitting and covering all of the people who were seated on that side, and my buddy, who had just been supporting me with an umbrella a few minutes before, was also hit by the wall and died on the scene. At least 28 people perished on the scene, and 97 were wounded. The LORD secured my life, but if I died that day, I knew I wouldn't make it to Heaven. Why? Because I was resentful and angry with my pastor for giving me money to purchase petrol when it started pouring. Luke 13:1-5 (WEB) Now there were some present at the same time who told him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
