In my country, it is a shame for a child to give money to their parents. It was their obligation to raise them. In these societies, expecting money from your children means that the parent is lazy and does not know how to manage the household finances. As for the children, they owe nothing to such parents or relatives.

Wow, the rent story is sad. I see this in a lot of kids moving home and want to live for free. And they working too, and have money to go out to the bars. When I first got a job at 16. I started paying room and bored, to my mom was nothing big thing it was like $10 a week. Got used to bills and haven't moved home ever. My friend made his son pay some rent, and people used to try to embarrass him for doing that. But when his son got married, his dad gave all the rent he saved as a down payment on his house. Best neighbor ever ❤

I can feel the frustration through the screen - I can’t imagine what it must feel like to work so hard and have the people who should be your biggest supporters completely ignore you , but now that your adopted sister is getting all the praise...

12:26 lol! In a custody legal battle, the age of the children is one of the most important factor. Specifically, over 16 years old, the judge just ask the child “do you want X to be you full time legal guardian?”, and that’s what goes in the judgement. The real battle is the alimony.
