Why is using machine learning algorithm and data to find cheaters a horrible idea?

@@wolf6 because banning people without question and then letting them appeal is the worst idea any company could think of. So many innocent people will be banned simply for being good. Guilty until proven innocent its dumb af. Terrible idea

@@burnzyable with the mass exodus of people leaving Warzone how would propose Warzone implements an anti cheat system that only removes people cheating in a proven fashion? Tbh the best way to prove someone is cheating is the data. Especially since most cheats now are through machine learning algorithms and far more complex than a basic program that is radar.

@@wolf6 is cheating really such a huge issue that multiple AAA companies will heavily invest in a 3rd party anti-cheat system? Probably not. Also, why automatically ban people? Why not review each potential cheater by a human and decide then to ban or not?

That was cheats and hacks til now, with the machine learning cheats we've started to see you'll have some truly unplayable games. With the Warzone mass exodus, I don't think anyone at Activision or the gaming industry are going to say having cheaters is good for business anymore.

You'd need someone to get a machine learning algorithm running, it wouldn't be hard then you just need to understand how to extract the data and compile it.
