Nah he is "shy" towards ANY woman whom he DOESNT feel close enough, including JESSIE lol. On another hand, ONLY WITH TIFA he's totally comfortable in his own skin

Remember when he caught Aerith when she almost fell off the roof in REMAKE? He didn't faze. Remember when Jessie gave him a kiss on the cheek if he does well riding the motorbike and he looks stunned? Remember in Rebirth, no matter which beach wear Aerith or Tifa wears, right after Aerith talks, his gaze shifted to Tifa. In fact if you look closely, he was looking at her as they were coming towards him at the beach. I still can't forget his time with Madam M... Ya it doesn't really matter which woman. Flirt with him and he becomes awkward, flustered or try to act cool.

@@peppergirlrocks Might want to read those ultimanias. Clouds heart goes thumpity thump-thump several times throughout the games when with Aerith, but not even once when with Tifa.

@@alyss4192 Comfortable in his own skin because he's not got a crush on her - he doesn't care. Whereas he's very nervous and conscientious around Aerith - because he does care.

If you watch him a lot you’ll notice he only pulls it off his back in a very particular way. He’ll lift it off his back and over his head horizontally to his body. Most of the time anyway

@@Step43099 Watch 3:40 and 4:11. He lifts it up with the whole blade pointed outwards. Were Barret or Tifa just a bit more to the center they wouldve been sliced and if they girls were closer same thing.

what are you saying? they've always been together, since og. there're more than enough hints. locke and celes from FFVI didn't have a kiss scene, and no one doubts they are together by the ending. this is the very same.

Yeah he kept his promise to keep Tifa safe at all costs. She needs his protection because she feels vulnerable and fearful, Cloud and Tifa have a great relationship together because it shows that they will do anything to risk their lives to safe one or the other, this is by far the cutest ship I have ever seen! Aerith x Cloud (Clerith is good too)

I feel like the obvious pairing is CloudxTifa and ZackxAerith. Especially in the remake. When it comes to Aerith and Cloud, they seem to lean more towards their connection with Zack. Aerith is drawn to cloud because everything about him is similar to Zack (Falling through the church, being "SOILDER", having the same sword) and Cloud is drawn to Aerith because he took on Zacks memories. Not saying the 2 do not live each other like friends, but I think thats as far as it goes. Aerith even makes it obvious that she knows Cloud has feelings for Tifa.

@@actingislife100 I think the game is also pushing more for CloTi but rather than Cloud liking Aerith because of Zack's memories, it was his Soldier persona that had that budding attraction to her. True Cloud loved Tifa, but his feelings for Aerith are complicated due to his messed up sense of self throughout the game. Then because of her death, whatever feelings were there go unfulfilled.

@@monca1222 And now that Zack is alive, I don't see why they wouldn't have the suspension be Zack reuniting with Aerith. Especially with the ending of Integrade with Zack not being able to see Aerith, which was like a hint that the next game will be Zack searching for Aerith. Also, if they were going to go down the route of "cloud likes Aerith but now Zack is back and things are complicated" will not even be the story at all. So it will most likely be cut and dry of Zack and Aerith and Coud and Tifa.

They're the couple that makes sense really. Cloud has loved Tifa since childhood. Even if he started to love Aeris he wouldve still loved Tifa. He'd probably realize that if he dated Aeris for a while. Plus she dies so. He moved on and stayed with first choice when she reciprocated.

Ofc. Nojima has written Cloud and Tifa as pairing, not Cloud and Aerith. Tifa is more important to Cloud.

But Rude works with Shinra! How did he protect her? If he’s evil like Reno, Tseng and the others?

@@gamingwithash6671 If you play the og ff7 it's revealed that Rude has a mild crush on Tifa, he tells Reno he likes her when the party meets the Turks near a town called Gongaga. After that reveal from Rude, when you fight the Turks in the og ff7, if Tifa's in the party Rude won't attack her unless she's the last party member left standing.
