#ktm300 takes on Dream MX open ride
Dream MX open practice ride. it's been about 28 years since I have ridden here. it use to be S&A raceway then Frelin and now Dream MX. it was really windy this day and they struggled to keep water down on the track. it was still fun and I pretty much like all conditions. I ride Enduros and harescrambles so it's what ever the conditions throw at you. ride with my old buddies Bill on the #crf250r and Denny on the sweet #yz250f #yamaha

I got the same bike fouled a bunch of plugs any issues with that
I have fouled no plugs and have 100hrs on the Bike. What oil ratio you running? I run factory recommend oil motorex 60:1 I also do not do any extended warm ups. That will load it up. I think I have only changed the plug 1 time. Also run pump gas 93 octane
@@ricknoonan9451 I run all the same stuff I can’t figure out why I keep fouling spark plugs. I’ve had this problem since I got the bike. I have already had the whole wiring harness replaced and an atmosphere sensor replaced.
I assume you have had it to the dealer? where are you located?
@@ricknoonan9451 yeah they have been helping me diagnose the issue under warranty I honestly think it’s just a factory fuck up I ride it like I stole it! And take great care of it so I have no idea what the hell!!

I had mine up forsale with a couple of other newer bikes and all i got were calls for the XR650R ,i wanted the other bikes to sell first😂 Over here in Aus they are still fetching good prices and never seem to dip below 6K. Becoming almost a cult bike. For the most part none are being ridden into the ground i have noticed with a lot of the loyalists keeping them in good condition even throwing thousands of dollars into them. I rekon they are worth the effort Anyway ride hard
They're going up in the states too. I switched to the exc but holding on to the XR. I'd love to restore it but parts are getting more and more rare. Boneyards are picked clean.

What length screws you run from kold kutters? Really want to do this with my new tire this winter
this bike in the video I am using what they call Canadian style screws. the are taller than the AMA legal screws. if your not going to race I would use the taller screws. Bigelow built these tires.

Have u rode a 250 tbi? If so how’s the botoom end compared to a carbi 250 2 stroke e.g beta 250rr
I just got a 2023 250 xc with TBI. It’s has insane bottom end for a 250, it lugs like a 300 does.

Chest mount? Nice vid. I was 2nd rider ahead of you (probably holding you both up) from about 14 min to 22:40 or so.
I am using a dango chin mount to my helmet. works okay. I dont recall you holding us up 🤣🤣 that race was very long 51 min 🙄
