Black sand comes from eroded volcanic material such as lava, basalt rocks, and other dark-colored rocks and minerals. Basically it came from the Italian Alps, where the Cervo River begins is an ancient Volcano

No machine, we met the guys who dug there before us, there were like 4 guys. Me and a friend dug a hole that size alone in a few days just with a shovel. Everyone should know NO MACHINES are allowed without a special permit. Even electric pumps that run a highbanker are not allowed!!! They will take all your equipment and fine you. It should be know also that you must apply for a permit in the Piedmont area.

I knew they were here but so extream 🥺. 😎 A local said that this year, they are much worse.

Yes it can, but it can also be frustrating trying to find that 2 gram a day spot. Many times the Gold is good, then it just stops 🥺 Still I like going there, but I need to find that sweet spot.

I want to go back, stuck in Norway 🇳🇴 this summer prospecting.

Gold is where you find it. I made a 120 point plan with links to each location. I also did research of past gold mines from oldtimers. The problem with Norway is that there was No one living in the areas where the oldtimers mined. Some of these are still being discovered, so I am going looking. I have already found one 😁 but it did not produce enough for me to want to claim it, yet.

You do not need a permit to prospect for Gold but only hand tools. Shovel, pan & sluice. No motors.

Yes there is still Gold to be found there. I was just panning the riverbeds down from one of the old gold mines. I did not have much time to test, too many rivers but I am sure if you take your time, you can find a good spot that has even more. I wish I would have used my metal detector closer to the gold mines but I was not sure where I would be allowed to do so.

@@SpiritualFreemasonry That was one of my first ever Gold Prospecting trips and I did not write down the name of the river/creek. That was back in the beginning before I started writting down everything. I just remember it was not far from the Toi place. I am not even sure it was allowed to hunt where I did. Funny story when I was panning the pan that I fould the Gold a helicopter hovered over me and said something several times and I just ignored it and eventually the helicopter took off. So I left right after that. There is Gold there you just have to do a lot of prospecting. I know there is Gold in Japan. I also see people sniping in Taiwan so there must be gold in the streams in Japan too. Good luck and keep prospecting.

@@adventuresingoldrush Thanks for the update. I think you were looking in a stream next to the river. One does flow in front of the Gold Museum. Also I'm guessing that the helicopter was advising people on the beach nearby to avoid heat stroke or rogue waves. They do that here sometimes. Anyway, you got me all fired up! Yes they are persistent and anything that smells will attract them. Better safe than sorry 😳

That should work too. I just wanted to have a complete eystem that works. Time will tell how durable it is.
