On September 13th, 2023 at approximately 6:42 A.M. Princess Buttercup passed away in my arms on the way to the veterinarian to see what was wrong with her. Questions i have about that jinbao contra. 1. What is your mouthpiece and reed setup? 2. Did you get silver or nickel plate?
@aslanson it is a jinbao contrabass, I'm using the ligature it came with but I bought a Leblanc Branded contrabass mouthpiece. I didn't know you could get them silver or nickle plated. I'm fairly certain it's a cupronickle alloy
@@twilo7618 what was the ordering process like on alibaba? i never ordered anything from there before
@aslanson it was pretty simple, although It did seem sketchy. I just put my faith in the company and they really did deliver what they promise. You basically have to send over the total cost of the instrument (it depends on where your shipping address is) and then they start the order process. There is production time and time going through customs to think about but the lady that helped me was very nice and guided me through every step. I recommend paying with PayPal because they protect your money

No, it's a Chinese copy of the leblanc 340 model which goes down to Low C
They look and sound pretty good.
