[EWL Disruption] SMRT C151A 513/514 Tanjong Pagar → Outram Park (OTP Bound)
25th September 2024 saw a traction power fault near Clementi Station around 9am turn into a full day disruption on the East West Line. Westbound rains were being turned around at Queenstown, and at Outram Park station to avoid the affected section of track.
Some sources show that a Kawasaki Heavy Industries C151 train may have lifted itself off the rails and damaging the third rail near Ulu Pandan Depot. Wild stuff.
Was it a coincidence that our ex Transport Minister got sentenced one day earlier? Wild stuff.

It's nice to see the C651 ply the airport branch line! Especially today when there were not one, but TWO C651s on the CGL! The other set was 201/202. Also, it's cool that this ride now takes less than 5 minutes! Shot on: 2 July 2018, 1528 - 1533h
