I remember seeing this 5 years ago live on every channel. I didn't cry but I remember how my heart felt. It was nothing like I'd ever felt before. MJ, we still love and miss you everyday.
They made fun of him for getting plastic surgery, I wonder if they knew he was called ugly by his father. They called him a pedophile for picking children to be his bestfriends, did they ever stop and think that he was a child in his mind and they called him gay, whats wrong with him wanting his love life to be private? They said he was wrong when he did everything right. Most haters dont try to understand. I say this cause I defend Michael Jackson.
I never knew about his Polio either. He is well written up in Lillian Roxon's Rock n Roll Encyclopedia, and I don't recall them mentioning Polio, so thank you for adding that to the list of things I learned today. Im glad it didnt prevent him from becoming an Artist. Last question, was it the sequined glove, or the longer, white glove/brace that went almost to his elbow, from the "Bad" album that is his nod to Ian?
@painxtreme Instead of posting as I did, trying to add depth to the context of Ian, I simply should have said, it was a crime that Ian was not better marketed here. He has a following, but major radio concerns wont play Dury on a bet. You can hear him on college radio, if the DJ, such as my son at his school, if they have him in their collection. Most college hosts provide their own music. Now, to find Hit me w/ Your Rhythm Stick. Had forgotten that one. I'm a deep cuts & obscurity sorta person.
@painxtreme Im not a musical plebe. Ive been in the same band for ::cough:: 30 yrs ;;cough::...Ahem...we are in indefinite hiatus after our bassist od'd on coca 4 yrs ago. Everyone in our group were walking encyclopedias of music, and we devoured anything new that was discovered. So, please, don't mistake me for a noob, because YT has a character limit, that forces context to be compressed, and written word is difficult enough to decipher, the 2 combined make for misunderstanding.
@painxtreme Which brings me my first post. While Zappa never made commercial radio, unless it was something dumbed down like Dancin' Fool, Valley Girl or Nanook Rubs it (Yellow Snow), you could still go into a music shop and find used Albums, since many of his were out of print at that time. Now to Ian. I only was aware of Spasticus Autisticus, and only because of Demento. I wasn't able to find an Ian Dury Record anywhere, he like Robyn Hitchcock weren't marketed well in the US at all.
@trashcanalive That was in zero way, a knock on Ian. I am a huge devotee of Frank Zappa/Mothers of Invention. Strangely enough, the first timer I heard Frank was on Dr. Demento as well, because small minds do not want creative, risk taking music on the radio. They want hits, so in that vein, There were and are limited resources when it comes to hearing underground music, definitely not commercial radio, except Novelty shows like Demento, the only other saving grace came later with College Radio
@trashcanalive I first remember Ian Dury, from Dr. Demento, doing his seminal hit, "Spasticus Autisticus". Since that time, all Ive seen of him is on music shows talking about other artists and times. This is an example of how much of a student of music Michael was. For a great many people, outside of the UK, Ian is quite obscure, but Michael listened to everything, and knew it, chapter and verse.
If i was the man in the car, and a glove hit my wind-shield.....OMG i would be like WTF??!!Then i would laugh. Then i would cry horribly and get a little scared...then i would collect as many gloves as i can!!!
soo beautiful...all those ignorant snobby people everwhere, only caring about themselves and how to get money or fame, and then it suddenly starts raining these gloves which remind them of a person who never cared about the material but about the world though he had both money and fame - and they remember what really matters...<3 if it only could be true...
@castro90 Are you serious? That's so messed up! Why would they do such a thing? Michael was the first black on MTV! WTF! Everybody's a hypocrite these days!
Ha! Nice promote. But MTV is just a hypocrite TV channel. What the hell they did to MJ during 02-03? I think the good part of the technology is that you can still find the video way back then. We can all see how hyprocritic the music industry is. Shame on you! MTV
@castro90 we 100% AGREE with u c'mon MTV that's really not right and we r MASSAVE MJ fans and we do believe that he is not dead there is heaps of vid on youtube
i agree with u frist they make falce charges aginst him and then he dies and after he dies they make this? they are damn hypocrits they lost the only thing that make this place brighter
Ugh, yeah MTV can make a beautiful promo for Michael AFTER his death but when he was alive, they mock him when they tricked him into thinking he was being given an award and made a complete joke out of him. Fucking hypocrites.
This whole thing was staged and is actually a part of a Freemason Ceremony to initiate Taylor Swift into the Masonic Order. As a matter of fact the entire show was a Mass Masonic Occult Ceremony with every shot, every scene being part of it right down to the very little detail with the other performer comming out covered in blood. The average citizen would not notice this.......But those of us that study Symbolism and the history of Freemasonry could not have missed it even if they tried.
The Most Influential Artist Ever!!! Remember The Time!!! See YOU In JULY!!! 7-7-25!!! 777=MJ LIVES!!! It’s All For LOVE!!! BeLIEve!!!

His mother had polio as a kid...which left her with a slight limp...MJ had Vitilago and skin lupus
This is SOO cool
@stephne1208 I meant I didn't know Ian had it.
