Omg, I’ve been trying to find this documentary for so long! I actually translated it a while ago-it was my first job, which I found on Upwork. I remember seeing Meme Chonjor’s face every day and night while working on it. Although Ladakhi isn’t my native language, I understand Tibetan and Hindi, so I gave it a shot and managed to grasp most of it. There were times when I couldn't understand certain parts, so I had to seek out people in my area who spoke the language and collaborate with them. It’s an understatement to say I worked hard on this documentary! I was really sad when I couldn’t find it for a long time. I worked on it back in 2017 and would check every year to see if it was posted somewhere. I’m so happy it's finally on UA-cam now. I’m incredibly proud of Meme Chonjor-I feel so emotional seeing it here!
