There wasn't much of a strategy for this. All I had to do was watch out for his attacks from both close and long range. I fit in a few Stone Blasts occasionally to up my Magic Attack

I decided to put Leon's Narikiri doll on Rutee so I can consistently hit his weakness to water (Focus wouldn't work because it's a blunt arte, and Hugo resists blunt). This might be my favorite fight in the game because I can just stay in the air and it's semi-optimal. Before the aerial phase, I just keep using spells to both keep Rembrandt in hit stun, as well as proc petrify, and to catch the robot minions. I dropped the "No Damage" for this fight. She summons way too many drones and those drones WILL sneak you when you're spell casting. Other than that, the only thing I do here is just spam spells. This fight was a BITCH. Baruk here is really tanky, resists most things you do, can summon bug minions, gives himself iron stance when he does, can summon multiple times in a row, and the bugs get invincibility when they first spawn (and if you hit them at all during that invincibility, they will stay invincible until you're done hitting them). The boss I never knew was in Leon's side before. She's not too difficult, she just hits REALLY hard. Nice work! It's cool to see how you play around a stage hazard like the dragon in the background. It's a pretty unique thing that's pretty rare in Tales... I've only seen stage hazards like this in Eternia (Gnome) and Xillia 2 (Aska). I do kinda like how they force you to play differently although I know it can be annoying in practice lol.

if you start by doing 2 m1s and miss the first m1 you can make that kill off of a lvl 3 not a lvl 5
You do that and you can't do the double big bang (you can also do lvl 1-3 and save a bar at the end)

With 3 ATB charges Sonic boom >Darkside>Prime Mode If you have a crazy ATB charge materia build (first strike, skill master, ATB boost, ATB Stagger and the ATB Assist when with full party) you could probably squeeze in Infinity’s End in there at the end and go bonkers.
Why not Darkside first to empower sonic boom?

At 0:43 how are you building a full atb meter after disorder
Disorder refunds ATB for each enemy you hit with it
Probably nothing new but switching modes is a parry too, so you can press the triangle button rather than R1 when an enemy armors through your attacks. For me at least it seems faster than guarding.
So prime mode, operator mode, then disorder?
Then hold square while Disorder is happening

Short version if you go into prime mode and then switch to punisher you can hold the attack button when your 3 hits connect you get an even stronger berserk status those buffing you attacks greatly.

You need to land 2 hits out of those 3 slams for the stronger berserk. 1 slam alone does the same basic berserk buff you can get from punisher mode
With Disorder, you skip the first slam. You don’t have to land 2 slams, you just have to land the 2nd one, which Disorder helps you skip to
You don't need to skip first because you don't need the last attack. Prime mode is for the buff and fast atb charge, therefore skipping the first to do the last makes u slower, due to the longer animation of the last hit. It makes you more mobile. So what you do once u switch to prime stance is, do three attacks for the buff and atb charge, use atb, dodge or stop the attack, to do another three attacks or two just to build fast
@@kirat2222 you don’t have to do the 3rd hit, you can do the second hit and skip the 3rd one by doing something else. Disorder goes directly into the 2nd hit, not the 3rd
@@flarigrar7114 yes I get that. Still, I wouldn't suggest doing the disorder to second hit. It doesn't give u back the full atb bar you are spending, which u wanna get while using prime attacks to get atb and the buff. I rather spend it on braver and focused thrust. Disorder isn't as good as in remake imo, I don't use it.

Surprised you didn't know this. It tells you when you unlock it to hold square when you use it. Also the move aerial assault I think it's called gets a boost when you have prime mode active
