God that head is awful. I gave mcfarlane the benefit of the doubt but after seeing in hand reviews I canceled my preorder. I really wanna know what went wrong here. Their dc line is pretty good and their spawn stuff is outstanding. I really expected more from mr todd

I buy what I love from the 1980's so no Darkseid in my collection but I own an Ambush Bug (I loved that character when I was young.). Also own Death's Head for the above reason. It depends on what gives you joy.

There's detail, it's decent, but at the same time... it's just not enough. Hopefully they'll get some re-use, repaints and some remolding done for more characters. It could use a black wash to make those details really stand out. Looks good, no idea if I'll see him down here.

For $44 for a hasbro figure, that makes sense. Look at their other lines, this figure is huge. It just failed at being sold. The dnd line is pretty much garbage, but this figure is pretty decent.

I'm sure someone has pointed out what the deal was with the 2 chest plates. There is a choice. Do you want to display or play with it on 2 legs or more bear like on 4? The one chest lets his head slide down and tilt up, so it is a 4 legged bear. the other chest is for standing upright.

Yea, the D&D figures are so weird in the quality department. The movie character figures were over price and didn't look good ,while the big monster figures they looked good but was over priced. I ending up getting the Beholder and the displacer Beast ,with one of the moive characters at Ollie's. By the quality made it look and feel like they were from completely different lines.

Its worth about $10 at Ollies.. thats all im willing to pay!! I dont think very many people bought any of the D&D figures at full price.. thats why they all popped up at Ollies.. I got the brown one. Would love to find the Eye and Panther.. haven't shown up at my Ollies yet.. but I would get them for $10 or even $7.50.. 💯

$44.99 is what the store charges. HASBRO gets $22.25 for this figure. Manufacturing, licensing, packaging, shareholder profits and transportation all comes from that $22.25 Stores keystone the items and charge twice what they pay to cover their rent, utilities, employees, share holders, shelf space and profits.

I'm a biased collector. I have some Mattel, Jada, McFarlane, NECA, Playmates, Valaverse and Hasbro. Of all the figures i have collected, the military types and anime inspired are the figures that i feel are the best value for my money.

Hasbro putting out Odin and Hulk-Buster at $60 was a complete shame!! The domestic toy manufacturers feel that they can charge import prices because their toys are made from plastic too. Playmates and Jazwares are the only companies pricing their licensed properties fairly. They are the only companies regularly putting out articulated figures under $20.

Hasbro are just greedy. Jada are showing them up with their Street Fighter line. Extra hands, heads, effect pieces (some with stands), shading on the skin and they all have better articulation. Hasbro still can't make a Spider-Man that can do the splits. They make out paint is as expensive as gold.

It's to minimize box size on shelfs. Most Joe vehicles & playsetsrequired assembly & stickers applications.
