So I did some research and sadly you didn’t make it to the final boss. You know it’s funny momo has destroyed to a woman fused with a machine and an elf In a Mecha dragon that could kill gods. Well actually that elf is still alive she did the whole you haven’t seen the last of me!

I think wonder momo was also in Namco x Capcom I remember her fighting the clown from Klonoa I think the clown was trying to kill people with sleep paralysis.

But did you know the anime got a dub and am chill with the voice actress who played the main character.

Wait someone talked about this already on your stream and it wasn’t me twilight zone theme starts playing.

Also did I ever tell you the fan translated Queen’s Blade spiral chaos but not the sequel with the fighting game characters and anime characters.

I know about this game I have two fun facts one Wonder mono has an odd anime dub but also for reason she was in the RPG fighting game and anime crossover game Queen’s gate spiral chaos sequel to Queen’s Blade spiral chaos.

The first half of XVI was a high A for me, but the second half brings it down to a C at best, but I definitely wouldn't put it in D. Though a fellow XII fan is appreciated! Wonderful game that got overshadowed by an awkward time in the PS2's life cycle after X already made its mark. After playing literally all of them over my 30 years of life (since I was a very young elementary school kid), I'd say my top are: V, IX, X, Dissidia (012 specifically), and III (I acknowledge that III is a strictly inferior V but something about III's very classic fantasy simplicity is extremely enjoyable for me) Honestly, the only FF game I'd truly rank very lowly is FFXV for its launch product that does not deserve to be forgotten or excused by the Royal Edition,

FF7 not S tier. Thumbs down stopped watching.

Not going to lie... I just want to say you nailed it with the thumbnail art! FFX-2, for better or worse, is the game I've played the most in the entire series (although I never actually finished it), so scrolling into your redraw of the iconic image of the three heroines posing was kinda a cool vibe!

My favorite game EVER! (Although I'm more partial to the NES and GBA versions of this game, but I'm nitpicking.) Don't even have to watch the full vid to know I'm going to enjoy this playthrough.

I have to say this is quite the tier list with a few ff games I haven't played/herd of before. Which I just might have to try out even if they all sound like mobile games. Other then that if you enjoyed World of Final Fantasy then your going to enjoy FF13-2 as its other monster taming type of game.

oh good you used the sword. Difficulty aside, it's a shame when people don't (and several people beat the game without knowing) because you don't actually hear the Calasmos boss music until you remove his shroud, his default music is just Mordegon Phase 2 again.

Despite getting stuck on the seedlings quest, this wasn't a bad episode. If there's any good that came with getting lost, it was the fact you went back to revisit some of the events and saw Hendrik's final episode with Jasper (which, by the way, was also added to the definitive edition of this game and serves as an excellent end to their story). Also, that battle with the golden Gigantes duo is probably the most tedious in the entire game, especially given the conditions and how bulky they are as enemies. It's not unusual to take at least a couple to finish it or have a REALLY long battle when you actually do complete it. It probably would have helped if Hendrik was at the top of your lineup to absorb more hits, but kudos for finishing it in any case. The Pep Power with him, Sylvando, and Don Rodrigo is one of my favs in the game!

I'm glad you're back to posting these DQXI vids, Edgey. And wow, what an episode to return with! The end of Act 1 is definitely one of the more shocking twists I've experienced in some time. Not since the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time had I felt a sudden sense of gloom emanating from a single event and its immediate aftermath until playing this for the first time. And getting to see the bonus character episodes definitely helped in bringing clarity to how Sylv, Jade, Erik, and Rab ended up in the various states they were in once you reunite with them in Act 2. I *may* have already watched most of your playthrough elsewhere by now, but I'm still glad to see them posted here. Fun, fun stuff!

I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but you went ahead one episode; part 7 is missing. Perhaps you've decided to skip ahead a bit or it was just an honest mistake. Either way, I do know where to find it if need be. 😛 You were progressing at a pretty good pace here, and you seem to enjoy Zooming across the world map now, which is cool. Also, someone clearly became a pretty big fan of Jade's... physical feats since the last vid, not that I'm complaining. Her allure-based attacks are all pretty good and fun to use. Again, I'm enjoying this blind playthrough, so I'll probably keep watching until the end. While I probably won't have something to say on every video, I'll be sure to show my support at least occasionally. See you around!

Excellent episode! I'm glad you were able to do not only the Octagonia MMA Tournament arc in its entirety, but also do the parts where Rab and Jade reveal their connection to the Luminary. Rab's reveal, in particular, is one of my favorite moments in the game, and it always manages to jerk a tear or two whenever I watch it. It's everything I love about this game wrapped into one vid, really, and I think you also seemed to realize it - from the party you form to the monsters you're constantly discovering. Also, the way you predicted Vince's entire deal was pretty funny and on point. It's also worth noting that I find the timing of this video's posting to also be very meaningful. While it's completely incidental, the fact that this video comes so closely after the news of Toriyama-san's passing makes this something of an emotional tribute to his work. I REALLY enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like you had your share of challenges in this episode. Since this is footage from an older stream, I don't feel like I'm backseat gaming when I say that you've probably missed out on quite a few crafting recipe books and side quests by this point that could have made battles like the one against Jasper smoother. The thing about this game is that exploring each new town can be pretty rewarding. Most houses tend to have either some barrels or pots with valuable items or bookcases with recipes or interesting backstories. It's usually worthwhile to spend a few moments looking for these things whenever you enter a new town. Also, maybe you figure this out later, but how your party members are lined up determines how frequently they're targeted by enemies. As such, having Serena and Veronica near the front (or top) was playing with fire, especially against Jasper and that Green Dragon you faced. Even despite all of this, you still fared fairly well at the end. I was hoping to see some of your adventures in Octagonia in this episode, but at least I now know that's a given with the next one. Some excellent moments are ahead, so I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to them!

Another great episode. Y'know, I've been meaning to do another playthrough of this game (I've beaten it about three or four times already), but I'm finding it enjoyable watching it all unfold through the fresh eyes of a new player, too. A lot of great moments here - the Cobblestone flashback, meeting Veronica in Hotto, and the various smaller experiences that exist around each turn in this world. Glad to see you figured out the item situation early on, too, even though it took dying to do so. While nothing in this game is terribly complicated, it's still easy to miss something important if you're not careful. Better to have the unpleasant experience of fighting a boss empty-handed earlier than later in the game, right? Anyways, looking forward to more!

Really cool opening. DQ11S is the best RPG I've played in years, so I'm always glad to see players enjoying it for the first time. You picked up on both the story and a lot of the game's features pretty well early on. I'm excited to see future episodes. Great work so far!
