i wish you included p values in the stats, ik p values aren't everything regarding statistical significance but it is better than nothing
About 45 percent are wrong
Shared this video with my dentist friend, glad you did this survey Chris xD
Awesome! Let us know what they think about it!
Very interesting! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Fun breakdown of this survey, I'm curious about cultural background/country of origin of the people surveyed as that would probably impact the results.. Also as a European I can confirm that it is not uncommon to go as far as having sex on the first date (with it still leading to a long-term relationship), no physical contact or just a hug seems incredibly conservative to me. And men especially believing they should pay on the first date and women being more towards splitting the bill seems to mirror the trend seen in political leaning/ideology as of late which is that men tend to be more conservative and women more liberal. The inequality here also seems to illustrate that men probably see a benefit in being the one paying. There's a lot of ways to interpret these findings and some of these questions could've used more nuanced wording or give an option for an open answer, like "how much time is appropriate to be late?" was most often answered with the middle option, that to me signals that people may have been thinking more about what people in general would consider a normal amount of time as opposed to actually considering their own opinion.
Thanks! The survey was conducted with US participants. Examining cultural backgrounds/countries of origin would be a really interesting followup study! I talked to my friend that lives in Ukraine and she told me the norm is either handshake or no physical contact on the first date, so there's definitely some variance that would be interesting to study! And agreed on the differences between men and women's beliefs on paying for the first date. There's many ways to interpret it. Potentially could've used a followup question asking why they think so. Regarding people selecting the midpoint option, this would be a potential issue with participants not wanting to seem too extreme on either side. So selecting something in the middle might come off as "reasonable" to them, biasing them toward it. Thanks for the feedback!
As a 23 yo woman I think the man should pay for the first date. HEAR ME OUT (and I mean this not in an extremist way): In a better world I would say 50/50 for the first date bc we both are just getting to know each other n if it doesn’t work out then no harm done. If I was dating a woman rn I’d say the same thing but since men are most likely to be shitty to women one way or another and my precious presence isn’t worth just any man (they have to earn my respect) then I say they should pay first n prove in other ways as well that they take me serious. I would love to trust n respect men just like I do w women out in the wild but I’m a woman in a man’s world, so our Dystopia creators should prove themselves to be decent human beings first🤝✨ and none of this “ig equality doesn’t exist”!!! Haha there’s this thing called EQUITY too ya know the world is worse to us than paying for a simple bill☠️ It’s just compensation imo. Most of us think this way or at least most straight women I encounter every culture is different Ofc my opinion is open for discussion and i don’t back it up 100% bc it’s all relative too if I like a guy n he’s struggling financially but he has proven himself to be a good person in other ways then I wouldn’t mind paying but I also believe relationships should be mutual/reciprocated actions and it really depends like I said Anyway, love the video <3 lol v intriguing indeed🧐
Also, if you did retrieve the Rhesus and Baboon photos from Wikipedia, they are very much in need of updating 😂.
Definitely! Good call out, those pictures are mixed up as well. Oops
You mislabeled the Rhesus and Baboon, fyi. More importantly, really fantastic content. Not a tone of humor to be found in such horrific, archaic scientific studies done by depressed, often drug addicted or alcoholic, womanizing scientists of yesteryear 😂. I think it would be highly beneficial to figure out which of the great apes snorts disco sugar.
Thanks for comment! We realized the mislabeling after we recorded 🤦🏻♂️😅 that's our mistake. And agreed on the horrific research conducted before ethics were overhauled in sciences. 🕺🏻🪩 sugar would be a great research topic 😂

Most dub now ends up being better then sub the dialogue is changed and often funnier. Take chainsaw man I showed my English speaking Japanese friends and they thought it was better. So if it’s in dub I watch dub then if I catch up I’ll move to sub if there is no dub or if I watch something for the second time I’ll watch in sub

My father was very angry and got triggered easily, now I am like that but I don’t drive so I don’t attack drivers randomly in the streets. I believe he was beaten as a child, I was beaten very badly and many times, even our school teachers would pull clumps of hair out, smash your head into the bench, beat you with special beating implements, etc. I was also being abused in foster care and a few years later I started acting out very badly, from being top of class in earlier years. I was born in Transylvania during the communist dictatorship years where people were kind of savage, due to the traumatic environment, I guess.

Never heard of slap chips before but those sound really good!
Not really surprising, its the same as countries with less social safety nets (US) spending more on private charity than nations like Sweden and France. Why be charitable if its the governments responsibility rather than an individuals.
The issue is they corrected for the variables stated in this video and still found a correlation.
If not friend then why friend shaped
This is how I feel about personality types like Meyers Briggs too. There are more than 16 personalities, you can’t just categorize people like that.
The myers brigs is classification based on 4 factors introversion vs extroversion, sensory based vs intuition based, thought based vs feeling based, judging vs prospecting. It's accurate in describing those things, but it matters very little if you dont value those things.
People believe in astrology because every world leader has made war decisions based on astrology. That was an extremely biased and absurd study.
🎉❤😮
In science something isn't true unless you can prove it is. Harlow did experiments like this so we don't have to. Common sense results all the same have to be proven. Of course decades later this all sounds barbaric because we have advanced further beyond this point but at the time it was breakthough research.
"females" makes you sound dumb. the word women is a thing. You said "men" here but "females" sucks.

Once my son sprained his ankle in a very populated place. Although we clearly needed help, no one except a homeless man helped us. The Uber driver who subsequently came insisted I not reward the man with some money. She deeply offended me with that, and I quickly gave him some money. Not a single other soul of so many would help us. 😔
There are a group of people who have been robbed of their names, robbed of their culture, robbed of their families, and sometimes even robbed of their lives. These are the original Hebrew people or Black people as some call them and they are hated of all men for HIS (YHWH) name's sakes. Will you stand with them and help them?. Look at the situation of Black Americans or African Americans .
You dont need the bible to be a good person...
Before you help someone out find out if they voted for Joe Biden or any democrat. If they did then let them know they voted for their current situation then walk away.
Live up to your name next time 👍🏻
@Yournansmellsfishy your name is fantastic 😂
First off he only has a small amount of time because he is on someone else's show. Second you do not understand about mediumship. They get bombard with souls wanting to come through and the souls normally communicate with symbols. Third you mock and judge which is totally out of line since you have no clue about mediumship. Fourth I could say to Chris that you wasted money on getting a PhD which in my mind is a total rip off for you and you are having to do a YT show to make money. You noticed that you only have 5 likes so I would say many that have watch this video agree with me and so your Bad Content name is perfect. I myself am a medium so I understand what is happening. Bet both of you would mock people who believe in Galactics, Big Foot, Dog Men, etc.
We definitely mock people who believe in Big Foot
This explains why there are more homeless people in US than stray dogs
I choose c disassemble the track
This is crazy! In all three scenarios if you have to pull the lever you kill the person. Therefore you are killing the person. If you do nothing you are not killing anything. It just happened!😂
Can you half cock the lever so the train derails, killing both plus everyone onboard? But… Depends on the person, and the dog. Is it a nazi, or is the dog mean? Too many variables.
Yes, they will but toddlers, about 1 to 2 yr olds who do not see adults abuse anyone will go and push, snatch, tug and sometimes hit another toddler for a toy, so why? I believe it is instinct.
To your point, there's definitely an influence of nature (or instinct) as well as nurture. Psychologists struggle with parsing out the role each one plays when examining a particular behavior. This experiment shows that behaviors can be learned by imitation (this wasn't as obvious in 1961, when much research was focused on reward and punishment to encourage new behaviors).
The pit of despair experiment is something paramedics become naturally familiar with over time. People lying on their backs after a major injury describe how quickly a feeling of loneliness can set in, just from staring at the sky, unable to turn their heads. Sometimes EMTs hand these people blankets or towels while they wait, regardless of warmth, and you often see people unconsciously hug the blankets to some degree. If you're in a situation when someone is trapped on their back like a turtle, just stepping into frame can be enormously comforting for them. It's great bedside manner when the bed is pavement or a neck-stabilizing stretcher.
Had no idea, thanks for sharing that insight!
You guys are fuckin hilarious and think like me. You are great friends.
Thank you for the support!

😮 this is wild but it seems accurate. Don't stand by when you see bullies!
Agreed!

"They all just watched as Kitty was being stabbed to death in broad daylight. They watched as her assailant walked away. Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men." ua-cam.com/video/dyiacmcATyw/v-deo.htmlsi=lfnc5Wt3T_lyrA7s
Wow very relevant! Thank you for making this connection
Today's cops would get to the incident 30mins late then blame the people for not calling them on time
Well it’s also people’s fault for not calling it on time. The bystander effect is when someone else thinks they are going to help her but no one does in the end and she got killed because of those people not acting fast.
yup pretty much this!
@@jappi09Jappi no she got killed because a nigg** poked her.. what kind of Neanderthal logic do you have ?
