Awesome tour man 🙂🙂 It's nice to see where some of the species I've got came from!!
Subscribed!!
Hii, I’d like to know how many quarts/bin did you use? They look like Sterilite bins…
Where do you get the “mosquito bits”? It doesn’t harm the isopods?
everything is looking great glad to see a new video :)
Can i buy Some Male Dubia Roaches please i need like 20 males and ill buy them and pay overnight Shipping please i need Some for My Females ..PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP PLEASE
Do you need to control the temperature and humidity in the room?
We need more updates on roaches orange head lobster hissers 😢
I'm 2 months in on isopods with no springtails, have babies, have no mold... some initial fungus growth, but cleared up with a reduction in watering. trying to overlap my fishkeeping algae management as a mold control technique... if the trend carries on for a year, I'll start my own channel on how I set my enclosure up to keep moisture in one third from spreading excessively into the dry half
I haven't been "sanitizing" or baking my leaves/bark i get from outside and haven't had any issues ... (knock on wood). What happens if you don't clean the leaves?
I'm preparing to get my first pods. Looking forward to it!
I gather isopod’s from outside.
Hey! I was about to start my own colony. I was wondering if you drill the small holes or use screen if springtails will escape? I’m just worried my house will get infested with spring tails
To be honest with you if springtails are going to be living in your house, then they’re already in there. I keep my room at ideal temperatures for them to breed and they still don’t come out of the bins. The humidity that you create in your enclosure is where they would rather than going out into the dryer room where There’s no food. Hope that helps.
Looks great
Thanks!
Nice isopod collection hope mine grows to be like yours
I hope so too
I like the set up! Can’t wait to see how it grows
Thank you!
Bro, I need to call u. I just hatched some awesome little Heliophanus aeneus jumping spiders...
Please do
Hahaha I love that you have Snake Discovery playing in the background
Gotta get some inspiration lol!
Just found your channel! Really really loving all your isopod content! It’s so relaxing. I’m a new pod parent 😂 so I’m excited to have a collection like you!
Welcome!!
@asimo1931 Great video! 🥰 I was wondering do you have a video on how you prepare/clean leaves/Moss or could give me info on how you go about it if possible please? Kx 😘
I do not but I can make one.
Hey man, I'm actually debating doing this right now in my area. What sort of permits did you have to get when selling isopods, reptiles and such?
You have to go to the Department of Agriculture in your state and see which isopods they will allow you to sell. To be honest though they are not to strict on isopod selling up north but definitely can be different for places like Florida.
sir, which one would you suggest for rubber ducky. morning wood or bug burger?
Bug burger. I sell both but honestly they both work perfectly fine.
@@asimo1931 thankyou!
do you have any idea when your next going to make an isopod tour? because it seems you didn't make a part 2.
I’m going to do one this weekend for you!
You may had mentioned this but how was the process in getting licenses and what not to sell
Not to bad. Honestly having the business registered to pay taxes is the important part. Go to the department of agriculture for your state to see which animals you can sell.
reminds me of armored core
Lol
What is the song name in your intro?
I’m honestly not sure since I made the intro 5 years ago now. I can try and find it and get back to youz
Nice presentation. My mentor once told me housecleaning is paramount! The frass is your enemy. Too much will stop the procreation. Change out the substrate annually, and you will be a master breeder! You are 💪! Do not throw the frass away! To be continued......
Well said!
I can’t believe you don’t ship to California
I’m sorry!
Those dying are Porcellio bolivari aka yellow ghost tons of experienced keepers have trouble keeping them and I have been doing very well with them they tend to like it super dry with a lot of ventilation use a hydration station in the corner keep them just like you keep your expansus
I’ve learned a lot since then lol didn’t realize how much of a novice I was!
Magnificus aren’t the titans the Hoffs are the titans but anyway they tend to like it drier
Thank you!
The Japanese are fake magic potions they are more Dalmatians the US magic potions are bred and made from Kyle at Roach Crossing
Thank you for letting me know.

Appreciate that
that is quite the collection man
Thanks!
Hello with the armadillidium gestroi's I'm getting some with some cappuccino isopods and panda kings all 10 counts and i was wondering with the armadillidium gestroi's do you just keep the moss wet or do you mist the entire bin i read that you only mist the moss. if you don't get this i under stand its been 2 years almost I'm trying to breed isopods and make i business. thank you
How’s it going? It’s always best to have a moisture gradient one side wet one side cold. Especially with Gestroi i might do a slight mist over the dry side just so it doesn’t get bone dry but overall I mostly only water the wet side(moss side). Hope this helps!
@@asimo1931 thank you so much they just arrived today and I think your advice will help they stay in the dry side most of the time but thank you.
Yeah I’m surprised why these are not sold in stores when fruit flies are everywhere. I don’t like to buy fruit flies because they poop all over the glass and it’s a pain to clean after.
Bean beetles are a great compliment to fruit flies but don’t carry all of the necessary nutrients so make sure to dust and change food.
Well done! As a bonus! The wheat bran use the liquid EM-1 mirco organisms starter spray for all the critter's.
Thanks for the info!
Look and listen to him. The youngster mastered the art of procreation orthopods. Outstanding habits and clean bins! You are ready for your A-game or destiny Asimo. For you guys have a problem tips of life? #1 good environment #2 humidity and temperature need to be consistent. #3 know what foods they eat and don't eat? #4 monitor the bins! Example? Are they happy? Are they developing to the life cycle? Are they getting water, food? #5 housekeeping! It is paramount to keep the bins clean or suffer pest! Asimo mastered raising critter's you are a special breed of human! Well done, well done! I'm happy for you! You are so strong 💪 young one!
Thank you!
Well done! Mate! I see you have mastered raising the critter's! I feel the Force is strong 💪 in you 🔥! I need more soldier's like you! You don't stop! Do what makes you happy! Be fruitful. The last of the mohicans!
Thank you!
Love the channel
Appreciate it!
Asking why not soil ? Im trying to start a colony i got and they had recommended soil over charcoal is that a safe start if i already added them to soil? 😢
Yes soil is perfectly fine! I prefer soil because it is easier to transport between enclosures. It really comes down to what you like to breed on.
@@asimo1931 thanks a lot there isnt really a lot of info on this really appreciate the response
I love sorting through all these feeders 🙈
You’re the biggest help!
Great channel !!!
Thank you!
That was a lot of feeders bro love your channel, keep up the good work, and hope my channel gets to be like yours one day 👍 :)
I appreciate it I have a new one coming out soon!
Best advice is never stop doing what you love.
Why do you keep worms so much? How much money for 1 worm?
Around .3 cents but we breed thousands!
12:50 container with hole in it lol
Thank you! I’ve moved since and have redone them all.
That’s so many mealworms 😮
Can’t wait to see updates and new videos
