I'm wondering if what John is talking about is not fundamentally linked to what Piaget stated 150 years ago or so - childrens' brains are different to ours, not inferio , not underdeveloped; and ultimately it can be stretched to accepting that each brain is individual and it pays to try to listen and understand and treat the other as a partner, someone much needed in the 'team' (even if it's just a two souls gig), regardless of age or where they are at in their life journey....it's incredibly hard at times but I am very grateful to folks like you who keep reminding us and offer powerful tools for when things get tough in our lives. Thank you both again for your public conversation!
