Hi I’m Tamara and I LOVE makeup - obviously :). I’ve followed many of my favorite beauty bloggers and UA-camrs for years and I started a blog to join in on the fun. Why “Coffee and Makeup”? I’m addicted to both and I know I’m not alone! Makeup is my escape, my creative expression, my favorite hobby. I’m not a makeup artist or any kind of professional in the beauty field but I love learning new techniques and trying new looks and products. I’ll share mostly products I love on here but if I find something that doesn’t work, I’ll let you know! Hope you enjoy.

New Fenty Cheeks Suede Powder Blush Swatches.
Mini First Impression Review:
I’ve only tried these on and haven’t worn them all day yet but my first impressions are that they have a unique texture to the touch and the color selection is gorgeous. They feel super silky and have a slip to them that reminds me of a cream product but they are most definitely powders. “Wet powder” is how I’d describe them but they are not squishy, like a putty product. I can press down into the pan with a decent amount of force without causing a dent in the product. They are softer than a true powder though and if I tried hard enough, I could dent the surface. They are not greasy or oily. Just super soft and silky without being dry at all. Dimethicone is listed as the first ingredient and further down are several other “moisturizing” type ingredients as well. All of them have excellent color payoff while also being easy to build up slowly. I was able to tap my brush into the pan and go directly onto the cheeks without having to remove excess from the bristles, even with the deeper/brighter shades. The only one that I’d say have caution with is Daiquiri Dip. It’s possible to apply it without being too careful but lighter complexions may end up with brighter cheeks than intended.

Patrick Ta Highlighter Duo Swatches and Demos. The crèmes are very similar between shades, except for Honey which shows up with a hint of warmth on my skin tone. For this one I tried using only the powders for eyeshadow and one of the pomades as blush. The powders have plenty of pigment by themselves without needing the help of the pomades and I get a much longer lasting result that wears all day over primer. Looks great! I can't tell - does the Wattabrat have glitter?
It has a lot of silver sparkle that's very noticeable on the cheek. I wouldn't say it's large enough to call glitter but the sparkles are definitely larger than regular shimmer.

Currently loving Bakin' Cakez the most too but Sundress Szn is a real close second. I like that they're both warmer while still being light. Also enjoying Wattabrat way more than I thought I would. I was afraid I was going to hate the sparkle but it's actually really pretty.
@@coffee-and-makeup some of the shades looked really vibrant and deep in the pan but were so pretty as a sheer wash on you. Great to see products that seem like they would work for a lot of different skin depths!
Wowza the finish of the formula looks incredible! You must’ve also had to use a fluffy brush and light hand on your fair skin. I loved the format of your video so much! 🩷
I did use a fluffy brush (I usually do) but even with how pigmented these are, I didn't feel the need to be extra careful with most of them. Daiquiri Dip is the one shade I felt like I needed to tap excess pigment off the bristles before applying the product to my cheeks.

You rock! Thank you so much. The shades are unbelievably flattering. What a great selection. Kudos to the line. Very pricey for the small amount of product but I'm tempted by four of them for my light olive skin. Very few lines do a true purple and light silvery pink well. I also really love the shade of red -- doesn't look too pink. I found the Haus Lab Watermelon too pink on me. What do you think? I love a good true red. The wine shade looks nice, too. Does it turn mostly raspberry or stay more of a purpley wine shade? Thanks!
I think Wattabrat and Drama Cla$$ are two of the more unique shades and if unique is what you're looking for these are worth taking a look at. Daiquiri Dip looks more like a true red in the pan than it does on the cheeks. On me, it pulls more pink once it's on the face and sheered out. In a heavy swatch, it can also look more like a true red. I also have Nars Exhibit A which is a warmer red that even when applied sheer, still looks like a true warmer tomato red. Summertime Wine definitely looks more like raspberry pink when I apply it in a way I'd feel comfortable wearing out (sheerer, more subdued). If I go heavy handed it can look a bit deeper and closer to a purpley-pink but personally I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it that way haha.

These look like the NYX buttermelt to me
The texture of these is what I thought I was going to get with the NYX Buttermelt Blushes. I’d say those are true powders (drier) and the Fenty ones are creamier and seem to have more moisture in them.

i was thinking that and since I was going to purchase 2 of these, I decided to check Nyx buttermelt for a cheaper color dupe before I placed my order. nyx buttermelt doesn't have a color similar to either of ones I wanted, which were bakin' cakes and drama class. there also doesnt appear to be a great color dupe for summer wine or whattabrat (bc of the glitter)

as with perfumes, when I smell too many, I get confused and they all seem the same, so these blushes all seem the same to me at a certain point 🤣
