Plains Grass Transformation - Extended Version

Plains grass is notoriously hard to maintain and chokes out other palatable and nutritious pasture growth. Here is an awesome demonstration of how one of our customers has used a BLADERUNNER™️ at their Gurley property to effectively control plains grass. The first footage was taken in 2022, and the second 2024. We love to see it. A BLADERUNNER™️ doesn’t just lay plains grass down, it crimps the...

Stupid video. Show the before and after result.
70hp tractor tow this ok?
Hows its on wiregrass and african love grass on the New England??
Price??
Hey Paul If you head to our website you can send an enquiry through and we can discuss further what you are looking to do and pricing on different models. Evolveengineering.com.au Cheers mate
but wouldn't it be too late at that point? since its already gone to seed
To the person who recorded this video, you need to made a few draft recordings so you sound better!
Which. Branch of agriculture engineering have high demand in Australia
Does the 2 1/4" shaft run completely through from one end to the other? Or do you just weld the shaft on the ends? Thank you
👍🙋♂️🌈💚👏🌞🌞🌞
In midwest US here and recently got a local made 30ft roller crimper, was surprised that it doesn't lift when in field configuration. How important do you feel that it is to have full frame raise and lower, such as when turning on the ends? I suspect this one they assume you'd roll after planting (talking to the company owner, that's what he does on his personal acres) so leaving it lowered and rolling on the turns is not an issue with direction of how the material lays. But I could see if rolling ahead of planting, this full frame and wing lift design you show here would be preferred.
Should clarify they omitted wing wheels, so it has walking tandems under the center section that raise and lower, but nothing to raise wings unless you raise wing hydraulic... simple design I suppose.. but interesting choice nevertheless. I'll probably be the only farmer within 30mi with a roller so it'll be quite the new experience for plant 2023.
😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Would you do this again?
This is fantastic it's possible that a smaller version of this may be a better solution in Rotation with slashing or harvest/animals to get longer feed value of plants that forige better dry rather than wet and inbetwen grape oringe apple orchards ? Banana nut bush native grasses between quandong trees sandlewood plantations forest ?
Absolutley brilliant
B 4 Berty!!
Waste of good diesel
Gday Paul Thanks for your input mate. This video is just a demonstration on the functionality of the machine that was all. Cheers mate Hope you’re well.
Nup its compacting
Hi This is just a visual demonstration of functionality of the machine. Also - Our machines do not compact the ground at all, in fact our machines have absolute minimal disturbance and tilth of soil.
That’s doing absolutely jack squat
Hey Kim Agreed! This is just a demo of functionality of machine.
That's what I thought
You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus the Anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel.
Good stuff guys. Greetings from Kazakhstan!
So how do we know what crimps "to death" and what does not?
First it depends on the time point when you are crimping. With grasses and cereals it's only crimping to death when the plants are flowering. If you crimp earlier the plants will regrow. The next point is that the crimper needs to be NOT sharp. You don't want to cut the plant. For the crimping effect you need just flat steel.
@@4Seekuh huh...who knew. Do all grasses crimp the death if you get them in flower stage? What about crops that are not all flowering at same time then? Multiple crimps?
What's next in your field??I rolled 8 to 10' sunflowers last fall at blossom stage and have not figured next item to plant. I have a feeling sunflowers 🌻 will be germinating after spring rains. Ground enreasonably dry now and too cold of course, however I am pondering next move enroute to a cash crop or a cattle grazing area.
