Sigmund Freud did enough cocaine to kill a small horse, Floyd is fraud .
Thanks for sharing. Hello from Brazil!
Too many very opinionated women, and not enough pictures of actual carpets.
Thanks for sharing!
There is NO carpet like a Persian carpet. I grew up in a home full of Persian rugs. They had magical names like, Mohtesham, Serafian, and Bakhtiari, Tabriz, and Bakhshaish. I have all thirteen and to this day they make me smile just as they did when I was a child.
I’m writing a comic book and this was soo insightful. Thanks
Very nice! Everything is done by machine nowadays.
a tad boring as visually it's mostly westerners talking about carpets, rather than carpets themselves

HELLO! VERY NICE VERY NICE DOCUMENTARY! VERY GOOD DOCUMENTARY! APROPO ART CONST Persian TECHNOLOGY design, have nothing, with Islamic idea, priests (Mulla) and do! Why Persian or English, art should be in the Islamic Museum! Has nothing to do, with arbic & islam, to do! Art is from the art of woman / man, and artistic ideas from Folk! No from any religion! There are many women in this industry! THIS religion (I), Idee, is against woman and man (woman / girl)! No rights, and equal thinking in that religion! So I think art and work are from people, not religion! Architect or textile as art from People!
I learned a lot from this video.

Hello hello thank you very much for sharing your Oriental rugs knowledge on UA-cam,I share this video on my blog
And I bet they make great spots for wild trysts by the fireplace on a cold and snowy night....😁
thank you for such an informative video! I absolutely adore these carpets, and you've convinced me of the importance, artistry, etc to purchase one myself :)
I bought ny first rug, a tribal Balouchi piece, 40 years ago. My love affair, continues and I bought a beautiful Qum rug last week. I'm a happy man.
Interesting, but the sound is not good at all, which is very unfortunate

What a fantastic programme. Bunch of people who know what they are talking about, communicating in perfectly simple and understandable English, avoiding intellectualisation of their words and insisting on pure clarity, talking about the greatest art in history of mankind's artistic endeavours: hand woven Persian carpets. William Morris, Sigmund Freud, Claude Levi Strauss, Oscar Wilde were all lovers of Persian carpets and rated them extremely significant in the annals of artistic creations. This programme entirely made by Persians marks a departure from the chaotic and haphazard way Iranians usually make programmes. Apart from the fact that the people interviewed were excellent proponents of their expertise, the structure of the programme was well created and a true understanding of the significance of Persian carpet in human collective heritage came through exceedingly well.
Great carpets
Mother in Laws are powerful not Freud.
Hi Helen Tongan culture hang "carpets" instead of walking on them. As you know its Taupe cloth i think thats the name; very beautiful.
Sir, if you take your shoes off when you enter a house, Persian carpets can be walked on for centuries without any damage caused to them.
👍
Wrong translation, it takes a 1000 flowers to create 5 grams not one...
Thanks
