Agree with you on the cost of ammo. I have the Vanguard (6.5-300) in the First Light pattern and tried Weatherby Factory Interlocks, Scirocco and the Barnes LRX.. Rifle liked the LRX the best and I took two whitetails with it this year. Both did not take a step. With the empty brass I have reloaded 130 Accubonds over 869 powder. Getting sub Moa groups but just barely. Still trying to fine tune seating depth and powder charge. In this case reloading is far cheaper than continuing to buy Weatherby factory loads.

Just got that very rifle. Really looking forward to setting it up and shooting it. Love Howas. The PRC is my third Howa. Quality and budget friendly. Thanks for the review

I have two Howas 270win I have had it 17 years not 1 problem just recently bought another in 7m08 love it there very good rifles love the hammer forged barrel you can get them with heavy barrels also there great !!

I have leupolds on all my rifles (over 20 of them). Very good glass, made in America and lifetime warranty. Everything I could ask for. I purchased a used Leupold and one of the turret caps had a scuff on it and I wanted to replace it. Contacted Leupold and they asked for the model and serial number so they could send the correct caps. My 2 new caps arrived in the mail about a week later. Free of charge and no questions asked. Great customer service in my opinion.

Love what I’m seeing/hearing with the Howa’s. I’m looking to get a barreled action, most likely in 6.5 PRC. I’ll have to check out your video on that muzzle break, so little recoil! I’m also a fan of the Precision Hunter. It’s reassuring that the base setup I’m looking to start with is proven. Thanks for the video!

For woodland hunting not needed Unless you hunting elk / moose etc I would just take a 45/70 Big prairie hunting sure but woodland stalking ? Nah not needed..

I have a new 280AI rifle. I bought a new Leupold VX6 HD 4x24x52mm TMOA reticle. My scope is still in the box. I thought it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get it back.
