Purchased your “Unconditional” for my wife’s birthday.

I’m just discovering Nakoda and trying to find out more about her story. Her sibling, her two cubs and Nakoda herself were all killed on that highway. I hope they can build a couple animal crossings for these poor guys 💔💔💔

Thinking of everyone who followed and captured Nakoda. So sad to hear this has happened to her and of course her cubs. Parks definitely needs to step up. This diamond of our Park is gone but I will cherish the postcard of Nakoda from Jeff Walker even more now. RIP Nakoda

Thank-you Nakoda had delightful, introspective curious personality. May Nakoda's legacy include increased driver awareness of wildlife close to roads. With over 11,000 wildlife/car collisions in BC roads annually, people need to drive with much greater care negligent driving is an issue across the province. My car has been hit three times by drivers in the city not paying attention, who all admitted fault. Inattentive driving needs to be held to a high standard in parks and urban areas, by RCMP and by each other. Driving requires well developed skills and focus, if a person doesn't feel competent to drive don't drive.
