What on earth is wrong with your sop player. Awful tuning in the cornets. The percussion players rushed more than a few times. not bad but certainly not great.

What a lovely programme. I especially liked the precision and the ensemble in"The Waltonian." The imaginitive use of percussion was superb and as a Synth player myself the Keyboard was a very nice touch. How did they do in this Competition?

What a blast from my Banding past. Never expected to see this Band on youtube.As a Horbury lad I played 1st Tenor Horn for them in the early 1960's and moved on From the Huddersfield School of Music to the Royal College of Music London. One memory was playing in a Contest at Dewsbury Town Hall and the Test Piece was Mozart's Eine Kleine Music. I went on to Conduct the Isle of Ely College Brass Ensemble and The Ancient Order of Foresters Brass Band Liecester for five years. Great Fun. Now at 72 I play in the West Midlands Concertina Band and Busk for Military Charities[i.e.Blind Veterans etc...] on that Instrument with backing tracks.

Can't believe l haven't seen this before. Great concert. Daniel Thomas = fantastic. 1:04:01 Nice to hear the second baritone player playing first baritone, such a great sound, one of the best.

After many years, this is still on here and I loved taking part of it, good times

They done good. They played a blinder, innit.

A vey popular lighthearted Salvation Army piece, Light-walk, by Australian composer Barry Gott. Quite well played. Another Salvation Army piece Shine as the Light by Peter Graham. Needs very sympathetic playing to convey the beautiful words of the featured song by Major Joy Webb, "The Candle of the Lord". a good attempt.

Shine as the light- a fine Salvation Army piece featuring the Christian songs "the Candle of the Lord" and "the Light has come". Tunefully played.

It is neither. It is just a pleasant arrangement of Scaramouch a Brazilian melody. Just read the music heading near the beginning!
