Forklift Training at a XYZ Global Express in Las Vegas
I’m still learning this and don’t feel all that confident in it. But I’m not going to give up on it. I’m in ICQA but I still need to get this down a bit more.
I start next week, 42 feet
Somebody tell me that was her first few minutes on that because I had it down pat immediately; I usually drive a deep reach truck, but I’ll have my harness on almost all the time so I can quickly swap to an order picker like I had to do today to grab a stupid box that fell 😒
Dude show us how to put on those yellow hornsses,
What's a pick packer?
Yeah I will be back easy work
People doing this literally get paid more than the ones in shipdock i envy them so much

I just graduated from training on one of these! I can't wait to go full speed and I know my coworkers can't wait either😅
Graduated? It’s like 5 hour class Lmao
@@Misshighness444 Where I'm at it took us 4 days. And after we go through the basics of everything else, and safety, and get some time on the OP. We had a graduation and got a certificate. Idk if it's the same everywhere else but yea definitely longer than 5 hours.
@@sizzleG1304LMaO you must’ve been awful
@Jason Duffy No, it's just how it is at our warehouse. 1st week (which is only 4 days), they train you. Plus, we had a big group and only 1 learning ambassador, which took her longer to train everyone.
4 days is hell of a privilege, i got tossed on a cherry picker with no experience and pass training within two hours.
I got too do this training today I’m so nervous
Don't be. They are very safe if you follow the training. Speeds at height are controlled, and you should be harnessed in so you cannot fall. I don't check here often, but let me know how it goes, and if you have any safety questions ask. We are always here to help operators be safe. Everyone in this video was a first time operator, when we did the training at Amazon, they all did well, you will too.
I am just starting with Amazon. What I will be doing is only on my 3rd day my probable is that I turn the wheel too much or go to fast more of the Turing
@@stevedrake14 except when another person crashes into you and you get sent to the hospital
I had op training today 😄 going up 30ft is pretty high
Did you have to ask to get trained or how did it work?
We gotta go 40 ft, I ain’t never been more terrified in my life 😂😂
@@Tentafersometimes you can ask and sometimes they pick people to train
ah this is at an amazon warehouse. Don't mess up driving these or you lose your job immediately, i shit you not.
@jonny_lagunaat my fc you can go full speed no problems at all but like buddy said you mess up and hit something or someone its very likely a termination and a safety termination at that which is a forever non rehire for all Amazon positions
Anyone that's nervous about driving these like I was, dont be. You have to reaallly try hard to fuck up on these just because of how many safety precautions these come with.
My friend please don't curse on videos, but these are hard to drive because the stirring wheel doesn't have any traction, however as long as you don't get fired for making mistakes and not following the safety rules that you're taught in a single day, then you will slowly get better and better at driving these. You only get one single day and probably 2 hours of actual training on the thing before they put you on the floor sadly
@@ThisMyhandlenowit’s a free country they can curse all they like
@rob67w Yea my friend, likewise in this free country I will hope to persuade people from using profanity, which not only hurts the one doing it but also the people who hear or see those things being said and expressed
@@ThisMyhandlenowquit being a little panzy, babies do not come out the womb saying "FUCK". Cursing or profanity is used as expression regardless how you or anyoneone feels about it. And riding theae lidts are easy. If you dont understand the safety rules and learn how to drive these machines in two hours you have to be scared or just plain stupid. Shit probably both in most cases. I used to train people on sit downs, stand ups, cherry pickers, turrents etc. They re not hard to figure out at all dude.
Worst job ever
@@markcannon8522 you do the op?
easiest job ever. you just dont like to work
By far one of the easier positions in the Facility.
@@eeeveee9176 hell no I’d rather be on the floor on my feet
@@eeeveee9176 your literally cruising for most of the time...its light work and your left alone...its prob the best job tbh better than forklift work
Crown's SP series Order Pickers wire guide system is pretty straightforward to understand, in fact, you can activate it even if you're off a little bit or at an angle and it'll correct for you and it'll stay in a slow pace until the system is sure your right on the full guideline, then it'll speed up.
Yup it takes a little practice lining up with wires. It's as simple as anything after a bit though. Just have to get used to the way a PIT turns. Very different feel than a car.
The cones are small..bigger one is more ideal for the figure of 8 training exercise.
Your doing it wrong, what you wanna do is come in full speed pushing your forks downs so you slid, then quickly lift them back up while holding down the clutch and the gas then let off the clutch at max rev.
Wow! I will most certainly pass my training tomorrow. That's quite the load you have there.
I remember my 1st time on a stand up
The space between the cones is fare to big. When I passed the cones where about a metre apart
pou lajan amateur BEN AP ANTRE MISYE FOU ,,,LOL
This is not the Tugger I was searching for
That was amazing
Thanks that's what I was looking for how much is the pay
Sorry but he sucks
He's never gonna hit rate like that.
Awesome
how else is he supposed to pu the stuff onto and move it around? the stacks and truck make it too narrow lower down
joek0617 I agree he was caution has good eye to know his carrying possible 18" to 24" feet per unit
i drive like this at my lumberyard. its pretty normal. how about those Loaded Container Handlers which drive around the harbor with 50 tonnes of cargo RAISED and TURNING and TRAVELING
no harness or side railing....
