2024 Ranger Raptor: Retrax Pro XR Bedcover
freshly installed. Lack of instructions was little lame. Came with QR code to scan to take you youtube to watch video. Video was good but didnt address the ranger specifically so had left over parts. Had to call them and they emailed me Ranger PDF. Works great but its leaking more than i expected. The canister is not as big as i thought.

Good comparison, one note about the two sweat guards, the vedder would interfere with the manual safety hellcat, tulster looks like it rides right below the safety, maybe by design, so could be a pro for some. Also looks like tulster can accomodate the threaded barrel and comp.

Thanks for the video! This is exactly what I was looking for a battery backup solution. Now I can use a lithium battery and my own charger and not have to buy a complete system that didn't have a compatible charger. I know I could have bought a complete system and not plug in the charger transformer but then I would get alarms because it would think I had a bad battery.

So it looks like the Hydro check doesn't have a charger which is good because it wouldn't be in conflict with my lithium charger. However, it appears to need AC power to work. Does that mean you have it plugged in to your inverter in case the power to your home goes off?

I also have both the P4 and the Arc. Both of them are so much easier to get to the tools. Like you, the P4 became my favorite knife, over the Wave+. I like the textured surface on the P4 scales better than the Arc. It hides scratches so much better and looks premium as well. The Arc's Magnacut blade is truly supreme, and because it has a little hole in it for the thumb stud instead of a larger cut-out, the blade is even stronger. I also like the awl on the Arc better. It has a tip. What was up with Leatherman, selling an awl with a blunt tip (on the P4)? Before I got the Arc I was convinced that I would always carry the P4 instead of any of my other Multi-tools, but the Arc has won me over. Cheers, my friend.

Bravo. All IT guys think in the same way. Nice setup. In my case 1st 1/2hp pump is on city grid directly and 2nd 1/5hp pump is on 280AH lifePo4 battery + 2kWt inverter/charger (with passthrough mode when city power is on). In this case 2nd pump is working only in case of emergency when no electricity or 1st pump failure. From my experiences when sump pumps failed , it still draw some current, so you need to keep a 2nd pump on different line and rely on water level only.

I’m just posting this as possible advice for new campers: These things look incredibly cool, but as far as cooking performance, they’re pretty poor. You’re constantly feeding the fire, or adjusting it, so you don’t burn or undercook your food. You really want a tripod cooking grate to adjust height, or a stake-in-ground grate that’s height adjustable and swings away. And if you’re going to need that, you’re better off using a gasifier stove like a Solo Mesa or other. Much more efficient burning and you can use pellets. I myself bought the $40 WalMart clone, the 7” diameter Ozark Trail model. It’s a pleasure to operate and cook with.

Hard to pick a favorite, but I have a Green Swiss Champ that has all kinds of stuff, including a hook remover, magnifying glass (plastic), pliers, saw, scissors, ball point pen, et al the good stuff. As for starting a fire with a magnifying glass, it can be made easier during certain months of the year when the sun is higher in the sky, and darker wood/paper will work best . Keeping the focused point of light is easier said than done too! Enjoyed your video.

Word of caution for international customers. I’m in Canada and bought this based on this review. I wanted to directly support the company and not buy through Amazon. They redirect you to the international site. It ships from China postal and in the shipping fine print it says it could take 1-2 months. Mine has gone dark for 10 days with no shipping info once it was “on the plane”. Next time I’ll pay the extra 30$ and get it from Amazon. I wouldn’t mind so much if it was better traceable.

I don't have one, but you should try the Lupo .72. It's apparently more efficient than the GC.84. At least according to Italian barbers Razor chart. The Lupo is based and sort of a copy of the Wolfman WR1.. which is like a $300 just for the head. (Lupo = Wolf In Italian) I wouldn't focus too much on blade gap either. Rockwell on plate 5 is only like .69, but definitely more "aggressive" than the GC.84. I returned my Rockwells (6C/6S) due to QC issues and Blade gap bias.. + head was also too big. Did NOT enjoy that one, but you may be different. Lupo .58 is also more aggressive than GC .68. Ill prob grab my Lupo .72 soon.. Few things I want to order from IB.

@@SYN_Raf Got my Lupo 72 today and holy cow.. This is an experience. Paired it with a Indian GWS blade and Cremo. I know this combo well with my previous GC .84... It's definitely a little more efficient, but doesn't feel that way.. it's weird.. in a good way. Did WTG and XTG and I pretty much have an in between BBS/DFS shave with minor touch up. If I have to go ATG, it definitely feels much BETTER than the GC .84... prob due to lower blade gap? Closer shave with same general effort? Yes for sure. I'm kinda at a loss for words.. I should have bought the Lupo .72 a year ago🤣. Now I'm curious about other plates such as .58, .95 and even GC .76/1.05. Worth the $70? Yes for sure. Quality from IB is still top notch.. I actually prefer the Super knurl handle to Barber pole I think. Ill have to swap them around in the next few shaves. YMMV.

I have a Vedder for a Glock 43 and love it. I have the Tulster for a 43x. Both are quality. My problem with Vedder, however, is they nickel and dime charge for everything. Want FDE? $5. Need it optic cut? $5. Want the claw? $5. By the time your done and want this extras, it’s 15 to 20 more than the base price, which then makes it a overpriced (IMO) compared to similar holsters. However, the Vedder is the more comfortable and easier to use one. I’d take the Vedder
