My mum got a similar style calendar a few years back that had quotes from politicians on every page. Except these were not inspirational quotes. These were specifically quotes that revealed how stupid they are. I can't remember it exactly but there was one she sent a photo of to me about how Australia does not follow the laws of maths. I just found it kinda funny that they were able to find enough of these quotes for there to be a new one each day for an entire year.

I used to have the pull off ones with recipes on them. I still have the sheets with the recipes I like! I tend to use the scraps for my journal or for notes.

Left over paper can be used to take notes, spread on a small shelf , use them as cover for notebooks. In India we also use newspaper to cover the notebooks.

I had this at home during my childhood! We used to fold it up carefully so it would stay intact by the end of the year. This calendar would make a beautiful cover for a wedding photo album or a baby’s birth keepsake.

Make origami. Thats the first thing that came into my mind. I'm not japanese but we do have these tear-off pages calenders too, in my country too and we use the blank sides of the calendar pages for a wide variety of things depending on the size of the pages.

I remember my aunty wake up, look at the calendar and do her planning, we are chinese Buddhist. She will decide what to do with her day follow the calendar. There are day is good to throw things, cut hair, buy lottery and many more. It is a realky useful design, even include Feng shui and prayer .
