My wife love's her 2011 HHR 2.2 liter..we bought it in 2013 used from a dealership here in Arizona ..it has 150,000 original miles & has been pretty reliable

i own a 2006 hhr and it runs great at 137k ..... and its parts are cheap. dude i also get like 21to25 miles per gallon in town and like 30 on highway if u can believe the cars computer..

I have a 16 sport. I got it in 2019 with 22k….it has 107k now in 2024. I love my car, but someone just hit me in it 🥴. So I’ll probably be getting another car soon. Probably another Buick 🤣

I have an amazing tear jerking story about my HHR lifestyle lol I didn't get my license until 27. I got handed down the family's 16 year old 2006 HHR. I surprised my Grandma with cancer and 3 weeks later she passed away. 2 days before her heavenly Christmas I got T-boned and that totaled my first one. I couldn't help but buy another one. 2011 Silver HHR LT and he was my everything even though the engine blew up in 90° heat. The day I got it paid off some short shit lady in a F-150 rear ended me when I was abiding Scott's Law. I cried and cried and cried. On May 17 I bought a dark gray 2011 LT 2.4. Within a month I did 90% of the mods I wanted on the last one. This thing is looking brand new still at 174k miles. I'm never giving up on this one I have such a sentimental attachment to these. They are great cars, 1950's cruise night feel, and keep you safe.

Weve gone too far now that they even have srt models for durangos. I love how dodge evolves

I own a red 2017 Verano and love it. I looked at the Cruz and wasn't impressed. I strenuously object to your use of the word "weird" to describe it. I consider it beautiful and have gotten many compliments. I find your commentary stupid, stupid, stupid ...

My mom has a 2010 edge very reliable and nice in my opinion

I have a 2015 Verano Fully loaded, and a 2015 Chevy Cruz LT. The two do not compare at all. Similar size and that's it. The Buick is so much more better made. The engine has 42 HP more than the Cruze better acceleration and luxury comfort. The cruze feels like a sports car. Stiff suspension but without the acceleration. If the Cruze had the same engine it would be more fun to drive. Also the Cruze front seat area feels bigger than the Verano, but the rear seating area is more cramped. The Verano i had to change the Engine at 40000 km thankfully it was under warranty. The Infotainment Radio went just before warranty as well. The Cruze on the other hand almost 10 years old 35,000 kM and the fan comes on every 30 seconds even in winter.

We had many over the yrs at work. All JUNK !

This video, in the words of this narrator, was stoooopid… and was an unnecessary waste of my time… you gave no quantifiable evidence whatsoever that related to the title. The only thing I really knew after watching this video was that for some uncommunicated reason, the narrator doesn’t like the verano…. Unfortunate for those of us what are seriously researching vehicles…. I would have looked to this channel in the for future reference if I thought they had some degree of credibility or ability to remain neutral while explaining the teased information…. Big no-no when providing supposedly informative videos… unless you were going for the misleading, biased , non-data driven content provider…. Then yes, you nailed it! 👍🏽

Still have a 2011, the last year of it, that I inherited from my mother….145,000 miles ….turns out it’s among the most reliable vehicles I’ve owned.

Do more homework. Why would the Verano be less reliable? All Chevys out sell Buick counter parts. Buick was phasing out cars to only have a SUV line up. Have you ever driven a Verano? I've had one since new in 2013, and it has been wonderful, dependable, and it gets compliments all the time. People think it's a 2021 or newer model.

Got my 2009 back . Daughter had it and mom and dad . I love it again - ✊🏻👍👌 It has a 2.4 engine and is a Lt.

I bought a 2007 Panel and put 264 K miles on it before I totaled it hitting a deer. Zero mechanical problems. Bought a 2008 Panel in 2017 with 165K. I put 294k on it with zero problems till the rear main seal started leaking. Put a Jasper engine in it and drive it all over the southeast. I’ve got way too much in it, but I love that car.

Model years: in 2011 it was release as a 2012... then you go on a rant about chevy Cruze and never mention anything about its active Years of the Verano

I own 2016 buick verano from New and it's been nothing but problems it idles like carp seen the shop more then my drive way and it only has 35000kms on it have and I maintain all cars I own this car is a nightmare from hell gusse I got the lemon I would never buy a buick or gm car ever again they have so many problems and the wireing is so thin and people wonder why cars suck in today's days need to go back to thick copper wireing

I got the 2012 Buick Verano at 10,000 miles! Amazing- no issued at 83,000 miles, except a $300 sensor! The cruze is smaller

Great video. Had a 2006. I sold to my Bass Player and he’s still driving it. Just stupid little problems. Decided recently to buy a 2008 only one previous owner and I can tell you it’s like the car is possessed. it seems like it’s all boiling down to the body control module (BCM) which controls everything. Chevrolet no longer sells or programs these things. You can find them pretty cheap, but to program them is very expensive and if you. Don’t have the original one. Nobody wants to program/clone without it. Good luck in finding somebody at a reasonable price. It can be done, but you’re gonna pay through the nose 😢

In Dec 2021, during a nationwide search of CarGuru's, I found an 09 HHR with 25,900mi on it. An LT2 or 2LT with every option, 2 owner garage kept, in Seattle and I'm in Charlotte. $9,850. Flew there, bought it, drove it home via the Pacific Coast Hwy, sea trials, preemptively replaced some 13yr old parts. Love it. 32mph highway. I sleep, camp in mine, on trips. The HHR wrecks on CoPart, show many with over 200k miles. One thing I don't like 1,000rpms = 27mph, so 3,000 rpm's = 3,000 rpms. My Chevy trucks rum 40mph per 1,000 rpms. So, HHR runs fast rpms at highway speeds.

I have four hhrs I use for busness All rour have over two hunndred thousand miles Still run good Hard to fix as everything is a tight fit. I had retired my 2008 at two hunndred thousand but after seeing my others go well over I put it back in service, I had retired it to soon.

I just bought a used ss model with a manual because I knew how to drive one and it serves as theft deterrent because most in the US don't even know what that is, you can roll it off if the battery is low so you don't have to find something to jump it off with and repairs are much cheaper without the automatic transmission costing about the same as an engine replacement. The manual lets your control the turbo boost a bit better and although no a true sports car it zips about pretty quickly for what it is.
