Fo Guang Shan Buddha | Solo in Taiwan | Day 7
Hey everyone! Today was my seventh day traveling alone in Taiwan, and I visited the amazing Fo Guang Shan Buddha. It's a really special place that mixes old traditions with new spiritual ideas.
Walking around, I felt so calm and happy. The buildings are really beautiful, and you can feel the history all around you.

Do i have to stay overnight in Alishan or can I make a roundtrip within a day back to Chiayi?
You can definitely do a day trip, that’s what I did here. But if you have budget and more time, I say stay overnight and watch the sunrise

Hi, thank you. Chiayi going to Taipei po is nag Train ako. Pero if you're referring to the last trip ng bus from Alishan to Chiayi (where I stayed) is limited po sya and per schedule lang talaga. :)

Naku sa google maps lang talaga ako nag follow. Chinese kasi yung name ng station 😭 Makikita mo din siguro sya sa google maps, just input your hotel name and jiufen as destination. Meron dun mga options ng buses, pick nyo yung diretso and no need na lumipat ng 2nd bus.

How long does it take from Chiayi HSR station to the Chiayi station near your hotel?
It’s around 40min via bus. And then 3min walk going outside of the Chiayi station 🙂

@@LourisVlogs I was thinking to book in advance the ticket. But, you managed to buy the seat on the spot without reservation. Were the seats availability a lot when you book at the station?
@@emeliasusana2954 yes there’s still a lot of seats available at that time but you can actually book it in advance, buy the ticket ahead of time, it’s much better.

Hi! Yess, there are restaurants that are open early and offer breakfast. But most of the well known restaurants opens a bit late in the morning 😊 I think the hotel also offer breakfast when you booked with additional charge 😊
Great video! Keep it up! This actually made me rethink my itinerary as the farthest south that i have in it is Taichung, lol. Trying to add it but don't know where to stay in Alishan overnight or if it's doable to visit back & forth from Taipei.
Take sunrise express bus from Taipei. Or take high speed train to Chianti.

Not entirely sure po pero from what I remember, meron din ako easy card pero pinabili ako ng ticket sa 7/11. It's easy naman to buy po, pero you can ask the staff just to make sure. :)

I explored for 2 hrs I think, I arrived a bit late in the afternoon, there’s not enough time to see the rest of the area unfortunately. 🫣 but it was sooo magical
