This was my first time successfully making color bass and being proud with the result. I really liked the methods I used here and I actually used it on the next track in this EP as well. I will 100% be doing this a lot in the future and hopefully be getting better and better at it. When I finished this I thought it would be like my magnum opus whatever, but honestly I felt like that for all the songs I made on the EP. This one is more centered around the contrast between the harsh and glitchy midtempo/dubstep ish sections and the ethereal melodic sections. Ironically the title track is pretty standout from the rest in terms of general vibes and emotion. While much of the EP focuses on the musical and emotional aspect, this ones pretty much just me messing around and experimenting the whole way through, so theres very little consistency in this song which was the point.
