A new class of 34' race/cruisers are being modeled similar to the Flying Scot that's seaworthy that's fully enclosed. It's going to have twin skegs with mini boards to allow for standing the boat on the ground. The mast will be a more robust airfoil that pivots w/spreaders. The gunwahls will be raised and it will be equipped with modern navigation equipment. It will be a Super Scot similar to a 34' Raven that was custom built in Texas. It will be 3-D printed and injection molded The New World Foundation -Omnijet

Looks like you're releasing vang and then retrimming it each cycle. Right?

I was familiar with the concept of gears, steering with the main etc. from Brian Gilbert's book. But this video is very helpful in reinforcing exactly how active one can be with mainsheet! Also, I'd been in the habit of cranking on the vang and keeping it there when sailing upwind. Zeke's adjustments are a good reminder to be active on the vang too; I'm inferring that the moments when the vang is eased are when the wind lightens up a bit and the leach is in danger of hooking? Also, I found his comment about speed winkles and the idea that they can be a sign of needing some cunningham. Keep it up! Very informative.

Nice work, Eric, sharing Jeff and Amy's techniques. And they're generous to take the time to be mic'ed up, filmed, interviewed. I've taken a few things from this video.

Not a fan of dunking the wheel bearings, especially in salt water, realizing Clinton is fresh, but rusty bearings are not road worthy. Just getting the black rubber wet is enough to roll a Scot off most trailers, and winch it back on later.

Those guys are far away from shore, but not wearing a PFD. Pretty dumb.
