The spring loaded mechanism is extremely smart as a deterrent to thieves. Maybe a really strong spring & lock Your design isn't over the top It's simple & very clean

Hi Barry, I'm in the planning stages for a Transit low roof conversion, and your videos are very helpful! I've been debating the powertrain choices, which unless I can find the right used van, would be the base engine RWD or the EcoBoost with AWD (we don't need AWD but unfortunately you can't order a low roof EB engine unless you also get AWD.) If you were to do it all over again, would you still choose the base engine and (I assume) RWD, or would you spring for the EB? What is your experience with the base engine on hilly/mountainous drives? Thanks!

Last time I was on that trail is was so windy I thought I was going to be blown down the mountain. The ice pellets against the face added more to the experience. But, it still was a great day, better than being at the office.

This is exactly what I had envisioned, only larger than my needs. I am trying to design one to pull behind a motorcycle. Total weight, loaded, cannot exceed 250 lbs. I have no idea if it can be done.

Do you think the water is drinkable? I mean it's probably not a food-grade plastic tank lol. I would love this, but I mainly use my sink for drinking water and cooking. This would just be for washing dishes and hands I guess. So intriguing, though! Brilliant.
