God's ways are not our ways. Isaiah by the Spirit of God prophesied the rejection of the Messiah, by His own people. As well as the acceptance of His message by the nations that were not originally called to Him. The scripture also predicts the fullness of the "gentile" era and the final acceptance of Yeshua the Messiah by all Jews. Jesus is still the most famous person, the Bible is the most sold book, and the Gospel is still saving, forgiving, setting free the hearts of humanity, and will be until His return. Maranatha! Look up church! Isaiah 55: 8-9, Isaiah 53, John 1:1-18, Isaiah 65, Zechariah 12&13, Hebrews 13:8, Revelation 11:5, Romans 11: 26, Luke 21:28.

Was Christs mission a failure. No, because part of that mission was to reach out to the rest of humanity. In this there has been some successes.

I can't stop thanking the Most High God for leading my family to grace church where the scripture is taught undiluted.

There was a billboard in town and when could read - I loved it. “ Peace on earth and good will towards all men.” One year I asked my parents, “ Is this year that we will have peace on earth?” I’m so grateful for the way you explained what this really means.
