In my experience selling several houses over the past few years, Redfin is much more accurate than Zillow. Zillow for the year or so prior to each sale, valued the houses as 1-2 hundred thousand lower than Redfin. Redfin was very close to the actual sale price. What Zillow does is, the day the house is placed on the market, its Zestimate will jump a few hundred thousand dollars to where Redfin has always been. Then when the house sells, Zillow is accurate. But for some reason, until the house is actually put on the market, it gives a very low ball estimate. Redfin is much more accurate in my experience.

My Dad's best friend moved "way out" to Redmond in 1970. My parents retired to Redmond in 1989. I moved to Redmond in 2001. It's nice and has a lot going for it. The biggest obstacle is finding affordable housing.

Is this because you’re in Kirkland ? We are going to look around lake sammamish / woodinville / issaquah for a 3400 sqft home . Definitely acquiring through land from demo will be cheaper than raw land

I remember growing up in Redmond, moved 9 years ago. Back right now, got this video ironically. Back then, only a couple of these apartments were down town and you used to be able to drive through the middle of the Redmond Town Center. So different!

The view from Ella Bailey Park is of downtown Seattle and Elliott Bay. And it's "Puget Sound", not "the Puget Sound". What breweries did you go to on West McGraw Street in the village?
