Great review about the process of battle, but why not mention the fact that Japanese main purpose wasn't "secure the safety", but forcely overthrow current Joseon government and make a puppet state to expand their power? That's what they actually did.

They didnt fight in traditional battle lines, that wouldve been disastrous given the technology at the time. They fought in trenches and used artillery extensively.
True, but it's probably a game limit and not a deliberate choice by the cinematic team.
The Battle of Seonghwan was a battle in one village district. And I actually visited that area. Seonghwan's first battle area was a swampy area where trenches could not be dug.
