That was impressive!! I’ve just started training for this years L2B and Ditchling beacon looks intimidating.
Just take your time mate. I only started cycling just under 3 years ago.
Nice one. I’m a big lump and have been forced into doing it next weekend. As you are from Herts. How does it compare to Preston Hill near Hitchin St Ippolyts?
I don't know that hill near hitchin but will check it out. Take your time on ditchling and you should be alright. There's a few corners where you think you're near the top that can catch you out but also a few slightly less steep sections where you can catch your breath
Well done lads, it's a bit of a lung puller isn't it, a few years back a guy did an Everesting ride on Swains lane and climbed it 144 times if I remember correctly in about 14 hours, imagine !
